I ve been scammed

Paid 300 for six month subscription in August never seen a single box Tracking number paid for premium delivery created 12th Sept but never shipped Should have two boxes by now No refund cos subscription is active I ve been scammed

I would give them zero stars if I could

I placed my order on 12 13 My packaged was marked delivered on 1 3 and after 72 hours of not seeing my package actually delivered I contacted Sakuraco I ve tried contacting USPS I even spoke directly to a mailman to help me check for all the packages and he couldn t find anything from Sakuraco Almost a week later Sakuraco still refuses to refund me I would give them zero stars if I could Update to Sakuraco s response The only reason my issue was resolved was because I called my credit card company to file a dispute It wasn t because Sakuraco did anything to fix my missing package It took your company over 10 days to even offer to ship a new package but telling me I d be charged 12 99 for shipping even AFTER I already said I filed a dispute because you wouldn t refund me I continued to tell your customer service team I was not interested in a box and will not pay for shipping and then yet again was offered a box without shipping It s ridiculous that after almost 2 weeks your team arrived at the conclusion that you should send me a new box But I told your team I don t want it I will never do business with Sakuraco because your customer service and response is absolute trash

Sakuraco is a scam

Sakuraco is a scam operating in bad faith My family ordered a one-month subscription for me as a gift with a price tag of 50 We were charged 140 and then another charge of 46 None off this makes sense Lots of other customers online have complained about similar problems How is it that the trustpilot rating is so good This stinks

Don t trust that you ll get the box that you ordered

I made sure that I put in my order before the cut off for the box I wanted It didn t ship out for nearly 2 weeks and when I did finally receive it it was a different box than I had ordered Which was incredibly disappointing I will never be ordering from them again There was no communication no delivery date and when I did get the box it looks like somebody had kicked it around for a week Highly disappointed after all of the reviews had heard

Es wurde ohne Ank ndigung ohne mein Zutun einfach ein neues Abo abgeschlossen und Geld eingezogen Ich habe mich deswegen gemeldet habe eine Cancellation bekommen per email und jetzt verweigern sie sich das geld r ckzuzahlen Insgesamt grottenschlecht und unversch mt They just made a new abonnement without me knowing about it and took the money from my account I wrote about this to the service got a cancellation email but now they do not pay my money back Really horrible service i can NOT recommend using them unless you are willing to pay for something you did not order

Misleading billing and no customer service

Website makes it very unclear when you are signing up for a subscription vs just ordering one box If I order a one month box I expect to receive one box for one month not one box every month You are not given any notice before recurring charges It s almost impossible to find a way to contact support Once you are charged they will not refund you even if the box doesn t ship for another week

Hidden fees and scummy marketing

Haven t received a box from them yet but already dissatisfied and will discouraged anyone to give this company their business At no point 0 nil never was it ever mentioned at any stage of the payment process that an express shipping fee would be added to my purchase Payment page says shipping fees will be calculated but they were not Page said 106 xx USD for my 3mth subscription i factored in the conversion to AUD but the figure charges was way over the amount because an express priority shipping fee was tacked on that I did not opt in for or was ever informed of Shady company and i expect my cancelling my subscription right away and telling them why will result in me writing another review here in a month and a bit to update on either not receiving anything or its late poor state

I would steer clear of this company

I would steer clear of this company After you sign up for an initial 3 month subscription they automatically keep charging your card to renew without your authorization After I saw the charge I asked them to please cancel the renewed subscription as they have not sent out the package yet They responded that it s too late to cancel even though they haven t even sent out the package yet Great company that forces their products on customers that don t want them It was very unclear that the 3 month subscription would renew for another 3 months and I imagine that s done on purpose as they know most people are too lazy to fight the automatic renewal charge With shipping it comes to 200 CAD which is crazy expensive at 70 box for what you get Absolute rip-off I highly highly advise not to be suckered into signing up for this scam Oldest trick in the book get a customer s credit card details and make it difficult to cancel the auto renewing subscription For those of you reading this who also got conned I would suggest reaching out to your credit card company to try and get the charges reversed given you did not authorize the transaction

Great boxes but dishonest company After my subscription terminated I checked the portal to make sure it would not auto renew The portal claimed I had no subscription Despite this I was charged again and they refused to refund me

Complete lack of integrity

My son enjoyed the boxes a lot But the process of cancellation is so complex that you have to have all your senses about you to make sure you do it right I should not have to answer a multi-question survey after I click on a button that says cancel Every answer stimulates a very annoying opening of a new box begging you not to cancel And after that survey which you cannot bypass I shouldn t have to decipher a question that is worded in the negative so it tries to trick me into saying that I don t want to cancel when I do And then after that I shouldn t have to notice a final popup box asking me if I m sure I want to cancel when I OF COURSE want to cancel because I ve persistently said so several times Why do I have to jump through so many hoops Yes the tactics tricked me even though I was actively aware they were trying to trick me I don t know if my popup blocker is the culprit or not but I was renewed for 144 USD on a subscription that I didn t want Extremely aggravating I contacted customer service but no response In all fairness it has only been 24 hours Maybe they will come through with a refund EDITED AFTER RESPONSE This response is a classic example of a red herring fallacy Yes I signed up for a subscription No one is confused about that The problem is that the cancellation policy is designed to trick people It is incredibly onerous At no point in any of the multiple correspondences with this company did they ask me a single thing about how they could fix the highly problematic cancellation sequence or even wanted to know what I found so problematic with it This is because they have no desire to address the actual problem They also offered me a refund if I would cancel the credit card dispute that I opened But only if I remove the dispute The bank has advised me not to cancel the dispute so I will not Then I received a note from the company saying their system is unable to process refunds So I wonder how they could on one day give me a refund and on the next day say that their system is not designed for this Hmmmm My advice avoid these people at all cost
