Very disappointing with what I received the edges were grinded sanded down It does weigh out correctly and I did a silver test on it checks out good on the outside of it Although it appears to be silver at the end of the day my concern is when I choose or if to sell it the complications I might run into

Delivery time was way too long When I placed my order it was stated that it would be about a 10 day shipping delay When I went to check at the end of 10 days there was a statement that it would now be 20 days before shipment When I finally received my rounds they had knicks and scratches all over along with some black marks on them Not very good for buying new rounds The only good thing about them is that they are still 999 silver

No security check upon delivery
I was never asked my ID this package was left in from of my door after 2 failed delivery attempts I had left my cellphone number on a post-it on the door to make sure the delivery guy gave me a call before leaving another failed delivery notice but he simply left the package in front of the door without calling me A small box with hundreds of dollars worth of precious metals inside of it

The thought of some porch pirate getting a package from you because the FedEx delivery person did not get a signature confirmation and just left your valuable package laying on the stoop is unacceptable

This was the first time ever that I purchased gold and silver from SGB I was not impressed when I made a purchase of silver coins and they were on back order and I had to wait I didn t notice this until I went to pay for my order They should show the item as out of stock so you can order something different that is in stock They were only back ordered for a month so I proceeded The order was still not ready for shipping after a month I was frustrated I found another dealer in Toronto I ordered silver and gold a bit cheaper I must add on a Monday and had my items on Wednesday yes 2 days and I live in the Ottawa Valley The Toronto dealer actually shows items out of stock and you cannot order them what a brilliant idea With SGB I had to follow up on my delayed order to be told yes it will ship on time to no still not available from the mint Why sell a product you don t have stock on I will not be buying from SGB ever again I learned a valuable lesson with my first purchase and now have found a better dealer in Toronto that tells you what s available it s cheaper and the delivery is lightening fast As for customer service Isabelle was great to deal with she saved the day Other representatives from the company no they appear to be checked out with customers who just dropped 14k with their company SGB received one purchase from me and it will be the last purchase I will say SGB did ship my order overnight courier and that was a pleasant way to end this purchase

I wrote a critical review on SGB s site They reached out and offered me 50 credit to remove my review I declined I ve notice my review has been removed by them Hard to trust a company that utilizes shady practices and censors any critical information UPDATE after posting this SGB reached out to me and addressed my original complaint in a satisfactory manner I believe a company should be assessed based on how they treat problems and they ve made it right I d update my experience to 4 5 now
