Fast ship

My experience with Sharper Image over the past month has been highly negative in terms of customer service responsiveness of customer service over 3 telephone calls involving extended waiting times and apparent current difficulties with the return process After ordering an item which I subsequently cancelled the item was sent to me in spite of the customer service representative assuring me that the order had been cancelled and billing for the item would not occur However the cancelled item was shipped to me triggering the first call to Customer Service with the customer service representative in the 1st call assuring me that she had cancelled the order and the item in fact was shipped to me in error and she would e-mail a return label to me After a 3rd call over essentially a week period I received the return label today and customer service on the 3rd call was unable to explain why a return label was not generated after the 2 earlier calls Of course I received the gratuitous apologies which came across in a clearly scripted manner and Thank you for being a customer of Sharper Image as a response to failed customer service and apparent organizational incompetence with the customer service representatives unable to provide any assistance on nonreceipt of the return label beyond I will sent a message to the persons who send out the return labels Over the past week I have received 6 e-mails touting wonderful items that I can purchase from Sharper Image which after the above experience has left me with the question which I would love to hear a response from Sharper Image management Why should I ever purchase anything again from Sharper Image and Why should I not file a complaint with the BBB which my experience as a businessman and retired business owner indicates is warranted
