I needed to re whitewash a gable end

I needed to re whitewash a gable end SHC Hire Centres Skipton depot were excellent with help and advice about hiring a scaffold tower I wanted to hire a scissor lift but they pointed out it would not operate in the conditions I was working in soft ground not completely flat - which was excellent advice I have no hesitation recommending them

Everyone at SHC is super friendly and approachable Carol and Jason are really helpful I ve had a cherry picker for work a few times and Giles who delivers them off at site is really friendly and has a great knowledge all the pickers he s delivering Thanks guys

Friendly and knowledgeable staff Prompt service with skilled technicians Contacted me when repair was complete Repaired several pieces of equipment over the last couple of years extending their working life eg concrete mixer hammer drill pressure washer unusual in the throw away society we now live in

Windermere depot

Called in to the Windermere depot to hire a stone cutter Simon was on the counter on a bitterly cold day running the depot by himself whilst dealing with incoming calls from customers and his delivery drivers as well as visitors like myself I have to say what a thoroughly helpful bloke he is and has very positive and cheerful manner First class service

Ease of hiring and excellent service

It was easy to arrange the hire of a tower scaffold for one day The scaffold arrived on time with a most helpful driver It was reasonably easy to erect where we wanted it and even easier to dismantle It was collected the following day Altogether an excellent service
