Damaged item not refunded exchanged I Received a pack of 8 Marley 2 4m lengths of aluminium Verge trim from SIG Roofing Bristol due to the weather delay in May I didn t open the packaging so as to keep them in tip top condition On opening 7 of 8 trims were badly damaged I spoke with SIG roofing and despite this being part of an order with other items of around 3k SIG refused to offer any refund or exchange due to the time period since delivery It is quite clear from the damage that it was caused on a delivery truck handling in transit as the damage were almost certainly caused by straps pulling down too tight on the pack I DID NOT CAUSE THE DAMAGE though this is what SIG are suggesting They were happy to place a new replacement order which I would have to pay for full price again NO CHANCE

What a looting store in Birmingham Soho from SIG roofing I bought copper nails on one day and second day gone to return Manager over there said will not return when requested Manager Gary he said they will charge 20 00 for a purchase of only 88 00 Is it a customer service Nails never depreciate in one day I will say be careful dealing with this store as I ended up with no return

Very poor and rude customer service

Brought a large number of items including tiles lead flashing nails flashpoint etc for a job Didn t use all of it and asked if I could return the roll of lead completely new untouched and in original wrapper so that someone else could use it Was told by Chris at Horsham that lead had a very short shelf life and I could not return eluding to the fact that the lead was probably unusable now that I had touched it This is lead we are talking about here Asked to speak with the manager but they were busy and they didn t call me back Tried head office left a message same issue It seems SIG roofing prefer profits and poor customer service to social and environmental responsibility Avoid this company

I had to leave at least 1 star for Sig in Stoke as part of this review if it had of been my choice I wouldn t have left any stars at all The staff in the office are absolutely terrible - they have no customer service skills whatsoever I don t expect to be treated especially well but I do think that there is a reasonable expectation that the person dealing with my order will at least look at me during my enquiry I have dealt with this branch on three separate occasions but I have now made the decision to go elsewhere in future Capital Roofing in Stoke are much more helpful courteous and competitive I will NEVER use Sig again and will ensure that all of my colleagues will know this too Very Disappointed

Accounts department needs help

We have used Reading and Slougn branches mainly and other SIG depots for over a decade It is necessary to ensure verbal prices are honoured The one star is for the guy at HQ who has tried to resolve so many recurring issues A major problem is the accounts department They are clearly completely incompetent and chaotic It doesn t appear anyone knows how to read the information on screen or reproduce the documents electronically required by a business before payment can be made The threats advising us that the due date has passed when the account is clear are now ignored Requests for an up to date statement results in a manual badly composed document because I hope you have good and lovely day no we can have not posted you all have already Have a nice and lovely day This would have been treated as misplaced humour except that having tried to telephone and had other correspondence from accounts - this really is how it is sadly
