DISAPPOINTED

Very keen to give this supposed vegan friendly product a go Took weeks to arrive Was very expensive 74 66 My nails were in pieces so I did my mum s We did it at 3pm and by 6pm they had already started to wear off My mum came for a repair next day at 10 30am so I will wait and see what happens The remover stung her hand so we washed it off quickly and I managed to get a bit on my arm and it was on fire in seconds That was like caustic soda on the skin be careful Overall the colours were great it was easy to put on But doesn t last It stains the skin on removal so you can t paint any other colour because it looks bad It will take a lot of scrubbing to get back to plain skin CND ruins your nails but looks fantastic for ages I had some put on mid November and it still hasn t chipped it s has however grown out My advice make sure your skin is really in good condition with plenty of moisture before you start Put a bit of nail remover over just the nail with a cotton bud to remove the moisture from your nail so the adhesion of the sistaco product is achieved Still not sure how long it will last Avoid the remover at all costs and stick to normal acetone remover It doesn t burn so much I took pictures which I will post if I can on the sistaco site

I really loved this product at first

I really loved this product at first but about a year in I developed something called onycholysis where your nail separates from the nail bed and then takes months to recover I found that this is apparently happening to many other clients I had never had any issues like this one having used gel for years It s weird that they advertise it as non toxic Udate after stopping this product and going back to normal shellac I now am 100 sure the problem WAS sistaco as I now have normal healthy nails again

Not impressed with service and the control of its FB page

Not really impressed with the lack of CS and updates Whilst the product is ok don t be fooled by quick delivery I waited until an item was back in stock was told it would be 16 Jan placed an order wasn t updated and now said item isn t due in stock until 3 feb They could have sent part order but they didn t and they never updated me to make me aware that delivery would be delayed It was only when I went to check if the order was on its way did I notice the date had changed They have nearly 100 of mine for almost a month and no goods yet They take ages to reply to emails and the FB page is very controlled no negativity if people post something they are concerned upset about it s removed You don t get a TRUE sight of the product and if I knew before I purchased this product I would have steered well clear I m aware many people may have had great experience but when you re selling products from Australia and have also a UK website you would think it would run more efficiently The UK website is probably so you can pay in Sterling but I think some buyers may assume it actually comes from the UK Dear Sistaco thank you for your reply however I have got copies saying that shipping date would be 16 Jan originally I only asked if the order could be changed as the order had not left and when I looked again the shipping date for the gloss Top coat had changed again so please do not try to say it s because I have wanted to change my order and you was waiting on payment Because this is not true and others on the FB page from UK have said the same Also I asked to be refunded for my P P as my order after I added a couple of items came to 100 I ve been waiting 3 days now for a reply from your CS a team to which no one has replied This will be the last order I place because tbh your company doesn t like negative honest feed back the same goes for your FB group negative comments removed and I ve had 2 posts pending for over 2 weeks shame on you Sistaco

No thank you

Ordered on the 23rd Oct order arrived incomplete on the 6th November The box was not closed completely and the seal was teared Had to twist the pen at least 20 times before the liquid came out Top coat recipient leaks once it has been opened I find deceiving the fact that they are based in Australia but their website is a co uk Customer service provided 2 promo codes for me to re-order the missing product I did so on the 8th Nov 24th November and the product still hasn t arrived Never again

Customer service is shocking

Customer service is shocking Don t be fooled by all the positivity on their Facebook page it s controlled to within an inch of it s life Any negativity is removed I was given a warning for challenging the poor customer service On 3rd Jan I d ordered the hard to get top coat Should have been dispatched on 16th Jan I checked on 20th to find date had changed to 3rd Feb No communication or apology etc just nothing When I questioned this on their page my post was removed and I was warned It s not cheap stuff It takes an age to arrive and if you can t get the key components it becomes pretty useless I was enjoying the colours etc but not now I won t buy again I ll go back to diy gel

Not all that glitters is gold

I bought my kit on a black Friday deal had to wait a while for my order 4 weeks Not really made clear on ordering how long it takes but I excepted that I received my order and the express remover was open and not much use very thick and discoloured I contacted sistaco and they said this was normal and should still work It doesn t I posted on the Facebook group and surprise surprise my doubts of poor customer service are still pending and not posted So disappointing the powder is good and I cannot understand why poor customer service is allowed by sistaco Just replace the remover not costly and would make such a difference to my sistaco experience Be aware they work hard at appearing amazing not so Sistaco work harder at a better customer experience

Updated to clarify things I have since found out

I need to update this First I received a free product for this review which I realise now is highly unethical I was blinded by my excitement as I had only been using their products for about 2 weeks at that stage Secondly while I still love the product and stand by what I have written below it has since become apparent that their Facebook page Sistaco Collective is very highly censored to rid it of any and all negative things even simply asking for advice because something isn t working as expected I have also heard that customer service is appalling when anything got mixed up in orders and is often only resolved by either a discount code of your next order or in some cases only resolved after mention of the ACCC or disputing payment with the bank Additionally any Facebook pages that have been set up to get unbiased advice or swap second hand product are very swiftly shut down due to infringement or some such nonsense claim by the company So far I have had to join 5 different groups Thirdly the product is easy to use but lasts me roughly a week not the promised two or three and I feel like is actually making my nails somewhat softer Not yet a problem but I would recommend some serious nail strengtheners underneath the manicures nail oils and potentially an alternative method of removal The powder may be 16-free the top and base coat as well as express remover certainly are not Kind regards Rike TI am pleased to report that Sistaco has lived up to the love I ve seen online and is really that simple and easy to do No smell which very much delighted my husband simple steps and gorgeous results even on my first try No smudges and I ll be able to use the system when I have a migraine as this will not aggravate my sense of smell on those days Very happy with my purchase

Fantastic brand and so so much support given by all members I now have 30 colours in my collection and have a list as long as my arm of colours i want 100 recommend sistaco Since writing this review I got offered a extra colour to do so I have used the product for 6 months now I still stand by the colours are amazing But I personally do not believe a company as big as sistaco should be sensoring the material it chooses to show on its site you won t find a negative review as they delete or mute you I have left the collective group because of this I have also had severe issues with all my nails breaking and gone very very soft I believe it is the base top Nd remover product Its claimed that there is no nasties in their products but I fear there must be Both my sisters who also used the products had beautiful nails but after a few uses theirs also started to break and get weak They both no longer use the system I will continue to use their colours but will NOT be purchasing any more as I def got pulled into the hype and spent over 800 on products Please go in with your eyes open I have been as honest as I can be in this review Have now changed base coat to a peelable one

Terrible customer service

Used the product several times now and no matter what I do my nails are chipped or peeled completely off within a couple of days Tried asking for advice on the Facebook support page but anything negative gets filtered out and you just get a message from customer support saying my application is wrong I ve followed the instructions to a T and get the same results whether I try classic or metallic holo application I m pretty sure I m not the only person having issues so would be helpful for the support page to allow posts asking for help otherwise how are people supposed to help The Facebook page should definitely not be advertised as a help page I got the deluxe set so wasted a lot of money Companies should judged on how they deal with problems not praise and on that basis I wouldn t recommend this product or thier customer service to anyone

I m giving it 2 stars because its a beautiful packaging and colours and idea However it s not easy to use or remove it says the box has all you need but the remover doesn t work alone you need to buy the scrapper remover or it s just nearly impossible to remove and now my nails are really thin as the only way was the use a buffer to smooth the nail after removal each time to try again after removing which I have had to do several times while trying to get the hang of this I have tried thin layers and was advised differently to what is on the instruction for the type of polish I got which isn t stated at all in the booklet Each time I have tried and even with thin layers like said it chips or the colour smudges off within the first day I might aswell have bought a 5 pound nail varnish from the shop as it would have lasted longer without chipping and cost me less I feel I may have wasted my money and could risk wrecking my natural nails in the process I m afraid this product hasn t worked for me it s a shame as it seems to have good reviews from others
