Poor quality and design 3 door sliding wardrobe set Been installed for 6 months now The door mechanisms in the runners catch the door framing The ceiling runners are not smooth and the top of the doors rasp against the pelmet I can only use 1 word for the wardrobe set Rubbish Oh dear hit a nerve did I Obviously you don t like criticism You manufactured the doors too tall for the opening I agree my measurements were 4mm out but then you supplied a reduced height base plate but still the doors rasp against the head pelmet so my 4mm made no difference at all I found you very unpleasant to deal with so accepted the only alternative you offered in the vain hope that it would resolve the issue It hasn t and the doors do not run freely You made a mistake it happens You told me you manufacture 1000s of doors but you have less than 400 reviews so perhaps there are 100s of your customers who can t be bothered to complain

I have taken 3 photographs Unfortunately they can not be uploaded to Trustpilot but if you are remotely interested I can send them to you Photograph 1 shows the reduced bespoke bottom liner installed which would according to you reduce the height so the doors run freely Photograph 2 shows the doors rubbing against the inside of the pelmet In the photograph you can clearly see the doors are still at least 10mm to tall for the opening so the 4mm difference in the measurements that you claim was the problem is nonsense Photograph 3 shows the runner mechanism attached to the door catching the middle door when opening and closing and damaging the door framing that I hasten to add has nothing to do with measurements The doors are too tall for the opening and that is because you made a mistake when they were manufactured but you just don t want to admit it

It is rediculous to suggest that I return the doors The cost to do do would outweigh any benefit and add considerably to replacing the doors and tracks You will have deliveries to make in the Surrey area at some stage so you could collect them but then being helpful is not in your nature I sent this email and photographs to slidewardrobesdirect Dear Ms SanchezI know you don t like to consider the possibility that you are in the wrong but the evidence does not support your defence The opening is 2416mm That I made a mistake is not in dispute Doors were according to you manufactured for an opening measuring 2423mm so the measurement error is 7mm A reduced height bottom liner was supplied as a solution reducing the bottom liner from 18mm to 12mm Effectively this meant that the opening height was reduced by 6mm so the opening height is 1mm This is well within a tolerance you build into the manufacturing process that was explained to me during our email exchanges You can see from the photos that 2 of the doors are 20mm inside the pelmet I thought I could live with it but the doors do not run freely and it has got worse and now they will only close if you help them along and the pine effect coating on the door frame is damaged If the doors are meant to be that high into the pelmet then surely the pelmet needs to be wider so the doors can run freely If you can explain why I am at fault then I am more than willing to listen to your explanation The door floor runner mechanism as you can see catches the other door and has damaged the profile This is factory fitted so I can t see how any adjustment could be made to stop this happening I welcome your comments on the observations I have made RegardsPaul I didn t get a response so I emailed them again today and this was the reply I received All your pictures show is that you mismeasured The doors are not faulty and we will not be collecting them You will need to return them to us We will issue a refund while you remove your review which is a lie Don t contact us again I SUGGEST YOU THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING WARDROBES FROM THIS COMPANY IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG THEN THE RESPONSE IS UNCOMPROMISING
