Not great still waiting for delivery two weeks after placing order

Placed an order on the 25th of August and received confirmation of order but then nothing Sent follow up e-mail on the 3rd of September still no reply by the 5th of September So I have no idea what s happening Customer service could be better I would expect a notification if order is delayed So I guess I will phone tomorrow to check what s happened to my 350 maybe everyone is on holiday still

Good with what is in stock

Good service given with items that were in stock however items have been out of stock for weeks they cant tell me when more is in so i can t complete one of my jobs so cant get paid i also will have to source some from another place to please my customer temporarily and when they do come in have to pay another P P charge all this eats into my profit in future i will go back to my local trade center

Slow delivery

Ordered a Retrotouch socket and was tempted to upgrade to next day delivery in time for the electrician in a couple of days but missed the 12 o clock deadline so glad I didn t hadn t received it after nearly a week so sent them an email I was told that they hadn t even received it from Retrotouch yet Not happy as I had to pay for the electrician to come out again

scratches

The order and delivery process of my switches and plugs went smoothly but when my electrician opened up the various retrotouch boxes and took the plugs out of the protective pouch he found out that except from one they all had small marks and in the light we can see lots of little scratches My electrician suspect these products were returned by someone else It is very disappointing as you would expect the product to look brand new

Socket purchased was good quality but return postage was expensive

Socket purchased was good quality but had to be returned as it did not match other sockets Postage for return cost 1 less than purchase price

Item arrived 4 days after the arranged

Item arrived 4 days after the arranged date Partly yourself and the courier I believe the issue was Had to put electrician of which cost me 60 Expensive light switches it turned out to be

Poor experience with Socket Store

Socket Store have super products and when you ring for advice or information you get informed and very good information and help But then they change the delivery address from the one on the order and on the invoice so the order goes to the wrong place and their solution is to tell the post office and hope the post office will find the parcel and bring it to the right address and tell me to wait and see what happens Such a pity to let down their record

Disappointed this time

Bought a double pole switch Spark had to throw away as didn t work Not worth the hassle of sending back so binned it and went to nearest stockist of the same switch and got a replacement so sparky could continue work Delivery etc and ordering experience good but kit faulty so 2 stars

Good product selection

Good product selection However the company has no flex around it s returns policy of a 60 day limit - missed it by 1 day Could do much better on this aspect of customer service hence the two star review

Poor delivery choice

The service choice of product pricing and dispatch time of my orders were second to none The only issue I have with you is your use of Royal Mail as your chosen delivery method Such an unreliable service I had a notification from them saying my parcel would be delivered on the 25 at 0914 to 1214 on a Saturday That time came and went and an hour after that time I then got an email from Royal mail saying Will be delivered by 1930 Im not hanging around the site for 14 hours on my day off because of the courier you chose There are lots of options out there now to get things delivered reliably Royal mail is not one of them
