I had a great experience with Spaceships their after hours pickup was very handy and easy to organise the van was clean and well maintained no mechanical issues staff when i dropped it off were fantastic and even gave me a lift back to my hostel they were very quiet I couldn t recommend them high enough and will certainly use them next time I need

Spaceships for the win

Clean spacious easy to drive car Perfect size for one person to live comfortably in for 2 weeks I loved my road trip around the South Island So convenient to just pull up to my accommodation and have everything I need ready to go They guys at spaceships gave me two duvets to make sure I was extra warm on my own Would recommend this company

Budget friendly car

Budget friendly car be sure you get a sparekey though as our key broke we had to buy another one in Mitre 10 Mitre 10 told is it is common with rental cars that they key breaks Anyway otherwise we were very happy with the roadside assistance and with the car who was perfect to drive and to sleep in I would definitley go for spaceships again when roadtripping

Dream Sleeper Review

The comment next to the stars says it all I would unreservedly recommend this company to anyone I am trying to persuade family to do the NZ experience and we will use this company for sure All campervan decisions are a compromise between convenience at the campsite and mobility around town but for us the Dream Sleeper was perfect The DS is basically car-sized which means parking and maneuverability is a doddle but the set-up at the campsite takes a minute or two once you ve got it weighed off I think what was truly impressive though was how they responded to a problem After five days the sat-nav stopped working and when I informed them they told me to buy a Tom-tom sat-nav and they would reimburse me In the end I didn t do it because our Google maps sat-nav on our phones was perfectly good but their response was fantastic So use them I will again

Awesome to deal with from the get go

Awesome to deal with from the get go we had after hours check in everything was so well organised our little van was just what we needed We drove from Christchurch all the way to Auckland over 10 days through rugged terrain and beautiful scenery We didn t sleep in the van every night and I can imagine it might get a bit cramped if you did but for the few nights we did it was great Check out was seamless the app and video tutorials were amazing Would definitely use again

Great rental company

The contact-less pickup and drop off system is fast and easy The van was perfect for our needs and easy to drive Great communication from Spaceship We were glad we added on the table and chairs since the only place to sit in our van was the front seats

I rented a van for about 1 month with Spaceship and I really do not regret my choice The van was easy to drive comfortable reliable super convenient Regarding Spaceship s staff I was very well welcomed and they gave me usefull advice Thank you very much for your professionalism

Loved it

Had an awesome roadtrip in my little camper I got a stonechip on the last day but no prpblem because of insurance I paid an absolute amazing price less than 20 daily without insurance Also great service and I even got a discount on the taxi ride to the airport Simply loved this experience
