In the countryside where BT don t go
We live in the countryside where BT copper cables with 1-2mb download speeds are as good as it gets We tried 4GEE routers from EE which were a step up to 30mb but as our neighbours also started adopting this speeds started to slow down and the mast seemed to be constantly under repair Starlink was the next obvious choice at 89 a month it s not cheap but it is decent 100-200mb download speeds are commonly had with excellent upload speeds Latency is not too bad my 3 kids are avid gamers and don t complain I had to buy the extension cable which wasn t cheap so I could get the optimal satellite position on the garage roof away from trees setting up was super-easy surprisingly I then have it going into my old BT Mesh system 4 discs spread the WiFi around my house beautifully Again no issues I see reviews about customer service being an issue I haven t experienced this myself I used the chat option on their app to chase my extension cable I d ordered as it was late arriving and they responded quickly and answered my question It arrived a few days late but no drama Edit Today I received an email from Starlink saying my monthly price has dropped to 75 Happy days

The worst Internet service I have ever
The worst Internet service I have ever had in my entire life if I could give it zero stars I would Whatever dial up connection you can get will be better than this especially if they actually have a customer service department which Starlink does not so I can t even get my money back Very dissapointed especially after waiting so long for it

Absolutely terrible customer support
The Starlink router that comes with the dish failed about six months after we got it We went through all their recommendations to reset it but got nowhere The customer support we received was just horrible--the worst I ve ever experienced You can only contact them through the app or website You send a message and then 4 or 6 or 24 hours later they might come back with a message saying glad you got it figured out What We didn t get it figured out and we never said that Then another 12 hours goes by Then we open up a new support ticket We ended up having to resubscribe to our previous ISP who thankfully hadn t yet removed their dish from our house

Starlink aka Starstink
Starstink has no customer service Go online run around taking pictures of everything log a ticket and wait and wait and wait No answers as to why I m suddenly offline No bad weather No indication of a fix and if new equipment will be sent There is no one to call and no one responding to my support ticket Very expensive internet with minimal service Still no internet after 2 daysUpdate was promised a return call from Jarrell but instead he put a ticket on my file to send me refurnished equipment which I will receive at some unknown date So basically he lied I paid 1000 for new equipment and have only had it for 1 year Worst service ever

Appalling customer service
I ve now been trying for month to return the starlink Tested it out and decided it wasn t worth the money OK if you have no other broadband option but the router has a poor range 6 attempts with DHL arranged by them all have failed I m left with a product I don t want no sign of my refund and no one at starlink who seems to be able to even arrange a courier collection Message centre on the app is like talking to a bot and it s musk who is warning us about AI it seems his customer service is run by it Don t bother unless you re stranded and desperate I have a tesla but after this I have vowed never to give them another penny

Waiting for a refund for 8 months ans not received yet
Waiting for a refund for the last 8 months Always the same answer it will be processed within 10 days Since refund is not received I send another claim Same answer it will be processed within 10 days Still waiting for the refund It appears Starlink has a serious problem with his processors department

Worse internet I have ever had
Worse internet I have ever had Customer service is horrible all they do is write you pre made responses and make you jump through hoops checking settings and doing speed test after they ask to send a speed test which I just did at 13Mbps I get a response of your internet is working within the range for your area I live in south Texas not the Amazon my internet should not be going from 180 to 13 every 10 to 20 Seconds

Disappointed Router was SIXTEEN software updates behind by admission of their own customer service A second router was sent Then a third Plus an extra cable We spent hours NEVER could connect Not once Who on Earth would even sell a router that s sixteen software updates behind I feel I ve been ripped off Initial cost 2 600 Steep monthly service fees Customer service friendly but slow Numerous mis-deliveries Help desk tickets closed with zero follow up No technician to service or troubleshoot the system Customers are on their own This was supposed to be the answer to rural Internet But clearly NOT the answer we were hoping for
