Stretchologists are excellent Company is run Horribly
Their Stretchologists are excellent However the way they run their business is horrendous - they increase pricing without warning just bill you When you cancel in writing they harass you for months and threaten you with taking away gift card stretches you ve gifted someone which is illegal The woman that owns the one I went to is truly abusive and fights with everyone They still haven t refunded by overcharge which was an accident I get 2 - 3 late notices from them a day 55 days after I canceled with them

Misty Aircraft the owner of Stretch Lab in Albuquerque New Mexico is a horrible lady I filed a case against her company with the Department of Labor for non-payment of hours wages and commission and wrongful termination the Department of Labor showed in my favor and ordered that she pay 3068 A demand letter with that giving her until July 25th 24 pay and she did not While working for her company I saw them do horrible things to members general manager Jasmine Jett and her store manager for Stretch Lab Winrock are liars and horrible ladies I have seen them screw several members over in membership packages This company needs to be shut down here in Albuquerque

False advertising terrible management
I signed up for a 3-month contract at StretchLab Georgetown in Washington DC for eight 50-minute stretching sessions per month While the stretching sessions themselves were good the overall experience has been frustrating due to terrible management which results in significant scheduling issues that were never resolved despite assurances from the management When I initially joined I was told that making appointments outside of normal business hours would only be a challenge for the first two weeks After that booking in advance was supposed to fix the problem The General Manager sat down with me and made my reservations for September and October However on two separate occasions I was asked to change my sessions to different days and times which was inconvenient but manageable The last straw was receiving five consecutive emails from the studio canceling my following five Wednesday sessions with no attempt to reschedule or offer alternatives I tried calling the studio several times to resolve the issue but it really takes a lot of patience When someone finally picked up the phone he did his best to help me rescheduling the 5 sessions the studio had cancelled but ultimately told me that no time slots were available that fit my schedule as someone with a regular 9-to-5 job This situation is extremely disappointing I paid more than 600 for the first 8 sessions and all I do is try to schedule and then calling for half an hour to reschedule I tried the app but it doesn t register the cancellations so it tells me I have no credits left It is extremely frustrating I was assured that scheduling issues would be minimal and that was simply not the case Having my appointments canceled without explanation or attempts to reschedule is unacceptable especially considering the price The fact that I couldn t even reach the studio on multiple occasions made it all the more frustrating To me this constitutes a failure to provide the service as promised and I believe it borders on false advertising If you have a demanding work schedule and need flexible hours or reliable bookings be aware that StretchLab Georgetown may not be able to accommodate your needs While the stretching itself was beneficial the overall experience has left me dissatisfied enough to request early termination of my contract According to what I am reading in many reviews on other websites it will be very difficult to get my contract terminated as they often ignore the request and continue to charge your credit card even AFTER the 3 month expire Just in case I have also contacted the DC consumer services agency and I am ready to use other instances because I resist paying another 1 200 to a business that can t deliver what I am paying for I hope they improve their scheduling and customer service but as it stands I wouldn t recommend signing a contract with this company

They make it very difficult to cancel memberships - so have a plan to cancel in advance Know who to talk to because you can t just cancel with front desk staff their tactic is to make you go through the manager I did not have a good experience with Chloe for the stretch lab on Adelaide St The staff who stretch are great and I do see a difference in my flexibility

Pretty shady company
Pretty shady company Probably the worst experience that I ve ever had with trying to get a job I first applied for a specific location and had an interview and then they ghosted me Then about two months later they reached back out and asked if I still wanted the job I felt some type of way about that and told them no because they ghosted me Then I applied for another location a year later and I was hired and went through training in March and it is now December and I have yet to hear back from them about starting within their company the management is very poor and doesn t communicate very well I have been getting the runaround for months now and it really sucks because I truly wanted to learn and work for the company but they are very shady Sucks That I actually did everything that I was supposed to do yet the company did not care and still gave me a runaround

Horrible The stretch itself is good Help me for sure However when you re sick and you buy credits at the beginning of the month you better use them because they ll take them at the end of the month Then they have the balls to tell you to read the fine print Such bull shit Keep my credits I m not being held hostage by some legal fraud nonsense Read the fine fine print my ass

Impossible to cancel
Everything is fine until you try to cancel your membership which they claim is easy to do with a click from the website Instead what happens is that you click the button get a message that says your membership can t be canceled from the web but only by email then you send an email then your email is ignored and meanwhile the monthly 289 charges continue Apparently the only way to prevent them from billing you for the rest of your life is to not sign up in the first place

Poor Customer Relations - Business Practices
Destiny and Andrew are amazing stretch therapists - I will give them that - but had a discussion with the management of this studio and I m not sure what planet they live on - but I have never experienced anything quite like this They have a really immature receptionist who told me I was demeaning when I told her that I would speak to someone else about how many sessions I had remaining because she couldn t figure it out - but apparently that hurt her feelings - which she told me I could call back when I was ready to act like an adult and hung up After my shock of being talked to like that for a simple scheduling call - I call back to cancel my membership - as any normal person would - because who talks to a paying customer that way I m literally just trying to schedule an appointment I never get the cancellation notice from the woman So I go there the next day to once again attempt to register for my remaining sessions and ask for cancellation documents because I just can t support a business who tolerates this kind of behavior - and the receptionist at that time asks me was I sure I wanted to cancel - and I was just like I have to stand by my word This young lady is a liability to this organization and honestly I need an apology I asked that the owner reach out to me Michael one of the owners then calls me the next day and says they are going to refund my membership - I said okay - but I m still due one stretch from the current month which he replies well I m not going to charge you the cancellation fee of 15 Well I want my 70 if I m not going to get my stretch - which then he replies - well we ve had complaints about you in the studio - which I said excuse me Because I went into your establishment to schedule a visit that I couldn t make over the phone and complained about how I was spoken to Oh I guess you don t want others to hear that you have a rude receptionist When I reiterate that I want my 70 back - he hangs up on me Never in all the days I ve been alive have I seen someone double down like this on bad behavior of their own business A thoughtful apology could have gone a long way - but he did the 180 degree option went nuclear and backed the rude receptionist I m so glad I cancelled Not only have you lost a good learning opportunity for your receiptionist but you lost what could have been a loyal customer Just a shame all the way around I like to support Hyde Park businesses - but this one unfortunately I cannot

I bought a 5 stretch class pass
I bought a 5 stretch class pass Every time I tried to book online there was no availability in Chelsea Today I tried again and managed to reach someone by phone The receptionist told me my pass expired this week with 3 unused stretches and if I wanted to use them I had to pay a fee to extend But there was only availability for 2 appointments within the window she allowed So I got 4 stretches for the price of 5 with a 20 extra fee Not a very good deal Not to mention an extremely rude receptionist Such a deeply unpleasant experience that it caused me to write my first negative online review in years And after all that she charged the 20 extra fee twice by mistake
