Really bad front end - failed to allow an access to the company which expressed an interest in my profile even after multiple resets of the password Still unable to login into my account

This is a review of the Personal Branding webinar After almost 30 minutes the presenter had provided NO relevant information related to the topic So i decided to leave the seminar This was not a personal branding presentation designed for senior executives but a mediocre Branding 101 class Not a good use of my time

Senior Executives have little time indeed to spend filling out their career information on job sites so they choose very carefully which ones to be on On gatedtalent com the site is so unfriendly and so difficult to use the feeling of frustration is beyond words one feels like pulling out one s hair and screaming at the top of their lungs

Feels like a scam I signed up for the webinar - it wasn t happening I sent a message to Louise Duffield VP who was very active bringing me on the platform and now went completely silent I got no response at all Companies are connecting with me but I had none of them contacting me after the connections Zero value provided

Don t waste your time They just tell you how much better their platform is in comparison to LinkedIn Ultimate goal is for you to sign up for their paid services Save the headache and money and go find a proper career and resume coach who will help you guide you personally through a career transition if you are at that stage of life

Paid for LinkedIn Optimization and GatedTalent Onboarding 500 Was optimistic at first because I was sent detailed questionnaires which I took the time to respond to as completely as possible It went downhill from there Communication was poor e-mails frequently went unanswered and when they were answered the response did not address the questions or issues GatedTalent took great care to protect their phone number so that I would have that option Work product was substandard and took twice as long as promised They basically phoned it in requiring me to do substantial work after they were done in order to correct theirs Planned to ignore it and move on until I discovered they didn t even get my e-mail address correct and the website won t let me change it EDIT Apparently their reply is a suggestion that I contact the same Team Member who did such a poor job of communication to begin with Ironically I had already reached out to that person to get the e-mail issue corrected and rather than getting a response I got passed on to a nameless entity at Customer Service Which I think illustrates my point nicely

It is not clear when you sign up that they will sell your data to third parties Search for Talentis do not sell my personal data to see for yourself I am also having difficulties finding out who they sold the data to a right under GDPR and they are requiring photo ID before acting on the GDPR rights to deletion contrary to ICO guidance All of the above is my opinion Edit in response I have contacted their data privacy officer who could easily have written back and said we don t sell your personal data if it were true instead they have simply rejected my request and required photo ID Future customers should be aware of this - you don t need to provide photo ID to sign up but you do to leave Also a direct quote from their terms we may share your personal information with selected third parties including Other members of the Dillistone Group PlcOur various third party partners including advertisers

This company posts jobs from other job boards In my case a job that wasn t even there It took me to a blank screen So after registering with Talentis which took me to another job board and then registering with the other job board there was a blank page This is a screen-scraping engine that does no validation or offers no unique content or services Very disappointing

Not much useful information Mostly all known statements with nothing new
