Love saving in Nero s coffee shops

I haven t found that many eateries local to me to take full advantage of my Taste Card yet However I love using it in Neros coffee shops it saves me a good amount on my coffee spending in those

It was not necessary to book in advance

It was not necessary to book in advance as stated on App Confusion between Tastecard and Gourmet- why the difference as they seem to be integrated now The restaurant was fine though

The idea behind taste card is great but

The idea behind taste card is great however there is a dwindling number of main chains and independent restaurants that accept taste card b whilst on taste card app it states you can use your taste card in specific restaurant however in reality they don t accept anymore They state they have advised taste card but taste card has not removed them yet on the app Or they change he rule book when you are in the venue

Less decent restaurants to choose from these days

It s obviously a reflection on the current market cost of living situation and not down to Tastecard of course but there are far fewer good restaurants that accept tastecard these days and their conditions on using it are also narrowing I struggle to find somewhere decent in London to use my tastecard these days so I am considering cancelling it as it s mainly the restaurants I want to use it for and if most of them no longer partake there is little point - real shame

It s my first time using Tastecard and

It s my first time using Tastecard and I encountered several issues 1 On calling the restaurant as required I was required to speak to an AI bot on their booking system the server said this had caused lots of issues with many callers This made it impossible and very frustrating to book a table 2 When we mentioned we were using a Tastecard we were looked at with derision 3 When we showed the server the Tastecard on the app she required the QR code which I managed to do A side note is that it isn t possible to screenshot the digital card incase WiFi data connection goes I found it difficult to use the Tastecard on this occasion

I don t feel like there are enough common restaurants to benefit from this card

Very limited on where you can use for dining out locally Lots of restrictions on numbers dates and times and fewer choice of restaurants than there use to be

The taste card said 25per cent of meal

The taste card said 25per cent of meal Sun to Thurs the code did not work but the lady offered us 20 per cent off instead One meal was good the other rib steak eye very chewy Had to ask for the steak sauce again By the time it came the steak was almost cold
