Very very Annoying

My experience of this agency is extremely poor When I first made contact as a photographer wishing to source models for my work they were encouraging and suggested the minimum rate that I should offer and the minimum time to engage the model Based on these information I wrote up an advert for them to post This was refused by the owner of the agency on the basis that I asked applicants to be sincere and not refuse the job if offered and for them to look like their photos on the agency s website Apparently she considered these simple requirements to be combative and told me that she had to protect her models I was extremely puzzled but amended my advert to exclude those words Yet she still declined to accept my advert When I tried to argue my case she said that she had to protect her models from verbal and emotional harm I thought she was massively overstating her case but what can you do My feeling is that this agency is run by someone who s capricious and unreasonable The owner is an ex-model and bats for her models so if there is a dispute she is very unlikely to see the casting manager s side of the story So if the model is late or rude or unprofessional or turns up not looking like their photos you may have to suck it up
