Scammers

They are a scam company My wife wanted to cancel an flight reservation for her father since he could no longer fly due to health conditions She called the United customer service but somehow the call got connected to this company we suspect some kind of call spoofing I have verified the call logs on the phone and she did call the right number for United She wasn t aware that the ticket was eligible for a full refund from United since they had changed the schedule by over 2 hours The agent from this company made us believe that he understands our concerns but the ticket is unrefundable But given that her father is so old he got an exception from the travel team but the refund will cost us money amounting to a little over 600 the ticket was a business class ticket worth way more and the charge would be from TravelMakers and not United airlines I got a little suspicious and called United again - this time the automated prompts and messaging was different and more like United Airlines I was told by United that they would not have charged us for the refund since the ticket was refundable due to the schedule change There was also no record at their end of any charges they collected to cancel the ticket The agent had given us their direct number to check on the refund After Googling around the phone number and name of the company I saw several reddit threads where people had been scammed by this company pretending to be various airline s overflow customer support team In some cases they pretended to make a booking for someone and never delivered on the ticket If you look through all the 1 reviews even on this website you will find a similar pattern for lot of customers They DO NOT represent or work for any airlines They are just looking to take advantage of your situation and see how they can charge you for it

TROUBLE REACHING CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT S AS THEY ORIGINALLY PROMISED FINALLY AFTER REACHING AND ACTUALLY GETTING SOMEONE THERE WERE MORE PROBLEMS WITH MY PAID TICKETS TRYING TO GET THAT PROBLEM SOLVED I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR 1 2 HR AFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH SINCE ORIGINALLY TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE SINCE AROUND 10 00 AM EST AS ALL NUMBERS PROVIDED WERE NO LONGER IN SERVICE AND NOW IT WAS ALREADY AFTER 2 00PM WITH OUR FLIGHT LEAVING THE NEXT DAY AT 2 00PM O-N-L-Y FOR MY CALL TO BE DISCONNECTED CALLED BACK AGAIN AFTER WAITING ANOTHER 20mins ON HOLD ASKED BUT COULD WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AFTER SPEAKING ABOUT MY PROBLEM WHICH WAS THAT I WAS MISSING A TICKET FINALLY AFTER THAT WAS TAKEN CARE OF ALTHOUGH VERY MUCH FRUSTRATED FROM THE UNFAIR AND UNDUE STRESS PUT UPON ME FROM THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET I WAS GIVEN THE COURTESY OF RECEIVING THE BOARDING PASSES A LITTLE LATER AFTER THE CALL ENDED BELIEVING ONCE AGAIN EVERYTHING WAS ASSUREDLY TAKEN CARE OF PER THE AGENT AS SAID IN MY ORIGINAL REVIEW CONFIDENTLY I LOOKED AT THE INFORMATION UNFORTUNATELY ONCE AGAIN I WAS LET DOWN THERE WAS A PROBLEM I HAD ONLY RECEIVED 4 OF THE 5 BOARDING PASSES NO ONE CARED TO REACH OUT TO ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT THIS HAD HAPPENED TRAVELMAKERS NEEDS TO MAKE THEIR CUSTOMERS FEEL TRULY VALUED AND THEIR TRAVEL EXPERIENCE BETTER BY TRULY APPRECIATING THEIR CUSTOMERS AS WE DO THEIR AGENTS AND BY DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE IT RIGHT WITH THE CUSTOMER

This is a SCAM SITE

This is a SCAM SITE I booked a flight for 259 CAD per person for 5 members of my family on Mar 25 I received a confirmation email Then I received a call the next day saying the flight was not available They tried to change my destination and make me pay 400 more meaning a 2 200 CAD price increase overall including tx They told me it was a promotional price and was no longer available So we decided to refuse their offer and had to cancel our Easter holidays in Florida Fortunately they did not charge my credit card at least yet But I look at it regurlarly just to make sure as it happened to other customers apparently So in summmary they asked me to pay 2 200 more to get my flight that THEY ADVERTISED on jetcost ca No way An ABSOLUTE SCAM On top of this they were still showing a price of 317 this morning while they told me over the phone yesterday the best price they could get was 684 So they are still confusing and misguiding people on their web site volontarily This is wrong doing This is not TravelMakers afterall they should rename themselves TroubleMakers No need for this in our lives

Poor and Unprofessional Service

We made a booking in October for flight from San Francisco to Cape Town in December and today 2 weeks before the flight they emailed and said the flight was cancelled This is very poor service and companies like this should not be in business

This is the worst travel agent ever

This is the worst travel agent ever I first booked my ticket online on their website it was 1586 48 Toronto to Kigali only to receive a call my an agent telling that ticket doesn t exist They asked me to book a ticket for 2089 I agreed and I paid 2 098 and they sent me my e-ticket and booking reference I thought I was all good Today they called me to tell me my ticket has been cancelled for absolutely no reason I called the airline they sent me back to the agent I called the agent they sent me back to the airline It s a huge nightmare My new ticket now is 2 800 with the same company It s a crazy nightmare This is the biggest scam of Travel agent Please never ever book with them

The wonderful reviews of this company are FAKE This is a bait and switch scam site I wasn t charged for a flight I booked I called and asked why and was told there were no seats But that I could move to the main cabin for 150 more Me checking the price they were trying to give me was 100 more than booking with the airline I d turned my CC off and was told a had a declined purchase that was them trying to charge my card without authorization After an argument I hung up and was called back and called a racial slur by the agent It says it s located in New York but actually the calls are forwarded overseas They are not in NY It s a front for an overseas operation They need to be investigated seriously DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC INFORMATION

Stay away

Early November I booked a flight NY-KUL KUL-NY and saw many negative reviews about it being a scam after I made my purchase At first I was a little anxious but I saw they had actually provided the confirmation number I could even change my seat 2 days prior to my flight On the DAY of the flight I was told I couldn t be boarded at the airport because the agent The Travel Maker PCM travels voided my ticket They not only scammed me but also chose to do it the day of my flight leaving me in an uncomfortable and embarrassing situation I had an event to attend overseas and although I was able to get a refund after multiple calls and emails for the ticket I was scammed for it was horribly inconvenient I was forced to repurchased a ticket 2000 more expensive due to last minute purchase and travel in December No one should purchase from them

Paid TOO MUCH

I went to the Delta airlines site and picked a flight and seats Before I could pay the site said error and then the tickets were not available Twice I called the number on the Delta airlines web and reached Carlos He offered tickets I could not access for I went back to the web and found alternatives Carlos reached out with another offer before I clicked buy I told him I found tickets When I told him about them he said they were not available and sure enough I could not get them I bought tickets from Carlos and paid a fee of 300 each They were seats I had tried to buy on my own earlier Sounds like Delta and the company Carlos works for scammed me
