Visited The Village Cardiff the swimming pool area on both occasions was horrendous It doesn t matter what time you use the pool it is full of children with inflatables They have one lane for swimming The water is cloudy and it s just not a nice experience

Good gym facilities but if you are disabled you will struggle to park THIRTEEN disabled spaces taken by cars with NO blue badges Reported but not dealt with as doesn t seem a big enough problem for able bodied staff after emailing the parking company something has been done as there are now spaces the correct people are managing to park with badges

Newcastle hotel abysmal supervision of disabled parking spaces don t expect to find one the only way you get hold of one is you have a car without a badge Come on village hotel step up to the plate and sort this mess out give parking tickets to a few people soon get around don t park without a badge

Me and my partner have tried to contact customer services on several occasions about a complaint we had for our room It s been over a month with many emails sent chasing the case and nothing has been said or done - simply ignored No phone number either so it s impossible to speak to someone - would not recommend

Useless payment system on website I have been trying for a week to book a room at Bracknell Stayed many times and unfortunately this issue is still ongoing I want a reservation tonight When I ve rung customer services Oh we can t see your booking do you have a pending transaction On one occasion the payment went out twice but there was no booking I ve tried to book on my phone and on a laptop I ve also asked a friend to try and make the booking All of which fail Finding your booking system very stressful and frustrating

Inrerviewed for cardiff reception they looked at no ones cvs just called anyone and everyone i dont mind not getting a role but this seemed like a sham interview where they had pre hired someoneeither a sham or they dont care whos servicing customers tried emailing for feedback and radio silence hotel did look lovely though

Been a leisure member of village wirral for over 20 years playing squash Racketball Even though our season has just started we ve been given less than 2 weeks notice that another 2 courts are closing meaning the 3 teams that we have playing in the Merseyside league won t be able to fulfill their fixtures as we ve only been left with 1 court No consultation no reward for loyalty most players have been long term members to say we feel aggrieved is an understatement

Meeting Room Booking - Very Poor Customer Service

Booked a meeting room for 3 days time plenty of availability Sadly the next day the candidate cancelled I reached out to cancel the booking still with two days to go and I m told that I have to pay 100 of the booking I explained I d only paid for it 12 hours earlier surely this is the case for a goodwill gesture I am sent back the T Cs where you incur charges at an increased from 12 weeks before the booking Madness plenty of other flexible meeting spaces to try with a far more sensible approach to building repeat custom from local businesses

The most awful lunch ever

A friend friend and I went for a meal to village hotel south Leeds We ordered the King of Protein meal at 18 99 This consists prawns shrimps and a lot noodles There were only 3 prawns no shrimps and very dry tasteless noodles I could not eat it for fear of choking After a bit argument with an aggressive manager he said as a goodwill gesture I could change mine so I got a chicken wrap awful Very dry hardly any chicken and absolutely tasteless I threw the wraps down the toilet The Chips were ok just I have never had such horrible tasteless dry food in a restaurant ever They should be shut down

Absolute Joke

To start with their booking system online is absolutely rubbish and not very user friendly at all Think you would be better going through booking com the price difference was only 6 Their payment method wasn t accepting payment and when you phone the hotel they won t take payment over the phone When you ask for their head office number to make a complaint you get told it s the local hotel number which you had already called and when you ask to speak to a customer service manager - guess what - it s the same lady that answered the phone Wouldn t recommend and if it wasn t for a wedding I wouldn t be staying there - I would use the Premier Inn down the road
