Just an FYI ANYONE can set up a line of credit in your name with Montgomery Ward all they need is your name and address smh I have been battling this company for months now and still absolutely no answers their customer service SUCX sofustrated I WOULD NEVER EVER purchase anything from them Background someone set up an account in my name and I contacted them 3x to get fraud paperwork to fill out and still nothing But every week I am getting bills and threats for collection I spoke with a supervisor today that was NO HELP AT ALL

This company is a complete joke

This company is a complete joke I ordered a curio cabinet for my Mother using her credit card but my catalog This company didn t take the info on credit card my credit card company stopped it we received the item and it took 38 phone calls to get a return label to send it back 40 phone calls later they are still charging full price for the returned item What a bunch of incompetent workers- now it is in collections and collection company says to contact Wards but contacting them now 6 more times they say it s resolved but it is not Don t order from this company - they are incompetent in service

Do not waste your time and money

My order was supposed to be here today Called customer service I was told I cancelled my own order so that s why it wasnt here Then was told a couple items were not even available anymore And the only way to receive my items before Christmas was to pay for expedited shipping I told the representative they should be sending my order expedited for free after all this I was told they won t do that I told the representative to cancel my order Talk about bad customer service I would definitely not recommend this place

The Opening of Fraudulent Accounts allowed by Montgomery Ward Drama

For the second time Montgomery Ward has allowed someone to open a fraudulent account with my name and address I found out when a bill was sent to me The first time I went through all the protocols with reporting this fraud to the credit bureaus calling Montgomery Ward numerous times putting in fraud alerts etc however they are STILL allowing this criminal activity to happen

LESS than one frigging star is what you deserve I paid much more than the 25 required 100 - 200 at a time Then Covid almost got me a payment was late you complain to the credit bureau knocked my credit score a little too low to get my house I get HOT use your ignorant worker to screw up entering my routing bank account in resulting in non payment You don t INFORM me of the problem until TWO-months later I DON T even want to talk to ANY of you crooks You re NOT getting anymore business HERE

Harassing and intrusive mail

I opened a montgomery ward account I spent several hundred dollars I made multiple minimum payments each month and received harassing letters from the company even after I my account balance was paid off in full Note to business It pays off to treat your clients like you care about them not like you own them Amazon is a prime example of what people respond to

Would give 0 stars Terrible ordering process Ordered curio cabinet online on 6 19 Got order confirmation and order Called almost 2 weeks later to inquire about order Kept getting the runaround about my card and how they needed to send accounting a memo verifying that my address matched my card I verified it and that still did not help get my order shipped out I just canceled the order Never had trouble ordering online oth any other company with my card but this company needs better practices and knowledgeable customer service staff Just terrible

Horrible treatment

A few years ago I bought a watch from Montgomery Ward online using their credit I paid it off with monthly payments Last year I bought a Bissell carpet cleaner from them for 130 tax and shipping-it came close to 300 I just made my final payment I now decided to by a pair of 59 slippers-and they refused my credit What I told them to stop sending catalogs as I m not interested in doing business with them anymore

My husband order a burgundy wing back chair from Montgomery wards he received it on 02 07 2024 Never in a description it said the pieces of the chair will come separately the top part of the chair arrived and the pieces which is the legs and parts is still in transit I ve never heard of nothing like this in my life I m very disappointed mad and on top of that Montgomery Wards compensate me for my Big disappointment buying they merchandise with a funky 10 off which is 4 63 cent off of my order and the rest of my order coming next week sumtime This is a slap in my face a insult I needed this chair in my house 4 my Company coming too celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans 2024 at my house this so messed up
