I m here to share my story that way it doesn t happen to anyone else I went to this place to get service from this so called spa the lady at the front desk sold me a package for 12 services and I only had to pay 66 00 for it After I pay for the package I noticed that she asked for my card information it was strange because I already had paid but i didn t put to much thought into Time passed and I noticed on my bank statement that I was charged 315 00 I called and asked for the money to be returned and on that 1at phone call they hang up I called again and the second person that answered the phone said that will send a message to be called y a manager I didn t received a call back but because it was the week of Christmas I gave them more time On January I called again and left the same message to be called back because I wanted my money back and I didn t wanted any services to be provided still manager didn t called Just now I called again and Rosa if that s her real name told me that the only thing that she can do is send another message to the manager to call I asked what happened with the other three times that they sent the message and she said it maybe got lost I asked if it was an electronic message how can be lost and if it grew legs very sarcastic she said yes Please don t get any service from this place they don t have costumer service they laugh at you and brush everything off I will be writing a bad review here and all other platforms until my problem gets resolved

I had the worst experience with European Wax in Lansdale They sell everything very well but then when there is an issue they fall back on this is our policy I needed to cancel my subscription first mistake and when I tried the person that answered the phone was unable to process cancelation she stated someone will call me back that day 8 days later someone called me back not only did they tell me there will be a 25 charge to cancel but I can only get store credit Something I was not told when I made the purchase I want to cancel why would I want store credit she over talked me when I was asking questions I asked why was I not told I had 30 days to cancel She said I don t remember what I said well that is something you should say I ve had service there twice and each time the esthetician missed a lot I would not recommend this company or this location to anyone They have a hidden agenda they are not honest at all you need to ask every question because they won t tell you anything and they rush you so you don t have time to ask questions Very unhappy They want to give me a 61 00 minus my 25 cancelation fee they tell you nothing about I don t like the place why would I purchase something there Very dissatisfied and I will make sure I let everyone I talk to know about this place

Rude and dishonest

I went to the European wax center in Pembroke Pines fl during my vacation there Although I live Kansas The lady that serviced me was Had very good customer service although she half did my full Brazilian wax Upon calling the center back to get a touch up I spoke with Madison She was very rude and snobby She informed me that even though corporate says you can come back with five days it s four days at there specific location We are a franchise Our rules are different here I asked to speak with a manager She said there is no one Else for me to speak with and would I like to book a new service I said no thank you she just hung up I know that the rules are nation wide because they let me use my wax pass from Kansas to pay She was very rude and dishonest I will never go back to this location and I would not recommend this location I still can t believe she did me like this Im a wax pass holder and such a loyal customer I was very nice even though she had a bad attitude

WORST SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER I have been going to this location for almost a year getting my 12 y o daughter s eyebrows waxed I went today to see Kim not the usual person I see and experienced the worst service customer service I have ever had Kim waxed half of my daughters eyebrows and then stopped because she has acne and put lotion on her face This of course after they charged me My daughter like most 12 y o girls has acne and put lotion on her face at 7am The appointment was at 3pm I have never had an issues with her getting waxed because of these things I went back in and demanded my money back at which point Kim argued with me that she has a daughter who she would never wax and has been doing this for four years The girl at the front desk called the manager Monica who did not ask to speak to me or offer any apologies For that matter no one apologized to me or my crying daughter To make matters even worse after I got home I realized that Kim burned my daughter s face with the wax I will never go back here and highly suggest no one does either

horrible service Popular for nothing

I got my wax done at the Newbury location on Wednesday oct 27 2021 My appointment was for 4 15 pm I specifically told the lady that I didn t want them too thin At the end of my appointment show put on brow brow gel to hide that she had completely ruined my eyebrows She then recommended I buy some I didn t know that was why After I went home and washed my face I saw that this lady had shaved off half of my brows One was completely shorter than the other and there was basically no hair left I want her to know about this if possible I am the black young lady I want her to know how sad and disappointed I am about this If she needs extra training please let her get some so she doesn t ruin other peoples faces I look like an alien right now

I wish there was a minus star Went for a first time wax which was advertised free The wax I wanted was offered at half price not free as advertised but that was ok Unfortunately I did not get even close what I wanted and upon calling the center a rude girl said I d have to wait for her manager to come to the facility and they would call Three days later and no call Seriously the idiot at the front desk couldn t say come in and we will make it right

Waxer skipped my appointment front desk left me waiting and EWC still refuses to refund me

tldr My waxer skipped my confirmed appointment and the front desk left me waiting for 20 minutes So I requested a refund of my pre-paid Wax Passes but two months later European Wax Center still has not provided the refund I ve been a loyal Wax Pass customer for several years The issue began when I arrived for my confirmed appointment and I saw my waxer outside in the front parking lot The front desk rep checked me in claiming my waxer was in the back and finishing up with another customer As I waited the front desk rep kept assuring me the waxer was almost ready for me but the explanation for why she was so late changed several times Finally after waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time I told the front desk I couldn t wait any longer No one apologized No one offered to reschedule And no one explained why my waxer left the building before a confirmed appointment or why she she still wasn t prepared 20 minutes after the appointment time When I got home I filled out the request for a refund of my Wax Passes in accordance with the EWC policy Nearly two months later I ve now filled out that form twice and emailed both the Kenwood and corporate location multiple times There is still no refund and no resolution

Head office doesn t get back to you

Terrible service except from the waxers the front office start are so rude The teachers to the waxers oh my goodness she is so rude Then you call head office leave a message and no one calls you back When there is a special they don t tell you They just tell people at the time of the wax So pathetic On Black Friday why not advertise it so you can make more sales Old school mentality of making sales I won t even mention which location in SoCal Find a better wax place

Terrible terrible service My esthetician did not ask me what I wanted and went ahead with a procedure which was horrible I spoke to the front desk person about how she had botched my waxing and he said well that s the way it is I paid top dollar for a terrible wax The McDonalds of esthetician services Dont go there
