Carclaze very poor

Very poor at the carclaze in st Austell Staff very slow in taking orders and food takes ages to arrive Not fully as ordered either Very poor really Staff are friendly but that doesn t really make up for poor service

very disappointed

i took two ladies in their eighties to The Roundstone East Preston for lunch on Saturday 12th October We waited nearly 10 minutes to be shown to our table the delivery of our main course was very slow the lasagne was fine the fish was beautifully hot the chips with the fish and the gammon were luke warm and the tomato with the gammon was stone cold it seemed to take for ever to get the menus again for our dessert but these were fine when they finally arrived in all it took us an hour and three quarters to eat our meal we will not be going there again

TABLE TABLE OAKWOOD Gloucester Very poor service we had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks on this visit On our previous visit my partners birthday we had starters before drinks Apparently lack of staff was the cause on BOTH occasions If Friday Saturday are your busy days then get more staff in or recruit The table across from us got so fed up with waiting for their drinks the chap went and got them himself Rubbish WHITBREAD a Company like yourselves should do a lot better Customer service whats that in TABLE TABLE

Gluten intolerant Hope you like chips

Ate as a party of four including one lady who is gluten intolerant When asked about gluten free options we were presented with ALL the dietary information for ALL the ingredients So basically do it yourself As we work in catering were familiar with the charts which reveal the only option that is gluten free is the chips and possibly the steaks When we queried the waitress she offered to get us mash potato without butter in it Obviously they have no idea what gluten is A couple of days ago we ate in a Green King pub where they affered ALL their main meals as gluten free and the staff seem well trained in allergies Not sure we will use whitbreads again as apart from allergy short comings everything comes out the deep fat fryer there are better options

Overcharged for barely warm food served by unhelpful rude staff I have emailed and completed online query form 4 times since visit on 20th January 2024 and have yet to receive a human response Each time I have received an automated reply NOT GOOD ENOUGH

I have tried to contact this company several times

I have tried several ways to contact someone about the cookhouse and pub Isle of wight but I got no response that includes Roz Gold i think her name is but she didn t bother either so my partner and I have had about 13 14 meals in the cookhouse and pub Isle of wight and the food has always been good but on our last visit it was far from good the gammon steak was very over done and hard the chips were dark and hard my partner loves the smothered chicken meal and has always got that meal again it was over cooked and dried out and chips were dark and hard and they can t use they were very busy for an excuse because the restaurant was empty but as per usual it took ages to get our food so we do want to go back because it is usually lovely food at a very good price but something went wrong and needs fixed maybe a new chef that needs restraining or replaced but the chef s behind the line always looks as though they hate their job I have seen them just throw food onto plates please fix this lovely restaurant or sell it to someone that cares regards Stanley Magowan psim not 100 sure of the datewe were there

May Tree Helston Service was very slow had to wait 15 mins before ordering the drinks Food was good but the plates should have been warmer as food went cold fast The room was very cold Some of the other customers put their coats back on when eating their meals A shame as it is a very nice place

Beefeater Harlow Mill

I decided to book here for our 15th Anniversary lunch Table booked online for 12 30 on Saturday 9 March We arrived 12 20 was greeted well and shown to our table drinks order taken then disapeared for 10 minutes before returning with them Waitress arrives doesn t introduce herself takes our order Starter takes a further 25 minutes we ordered the shredded bbq beef on salad tiny portion takes us around 10 minutes to eat manager then appears as our waitress seems to be having a row at the other end of the restaurant We wait and wait there are plates and plates of food lined up waiting to be taken at the servery Eventually the manager arrives with our main meals which are now luke warm I ordered the steak with triple cooked chips hubby has ordered the burger Food tasted good so no complaints about that Just very under staffed our waitress was obviously stressed out Glass of wine was just over 6 00 Meal for two starters two mains 65 00 Which I wouldn t mind had the service been adequate and food hot Definitely not going back Shame as the pub itself is lovely I felt bad as I thought it would be nice to celebrate at one of our locals sorry hubby

I treated my sister to lunch telling her the open club chicken and bacon sandwich was lovely but when it arrived it was only warm and my bread was burnt
