Use caution This might well be a great product but it s hard to know before you try if it will break your site or help As a first-time website builder I felt lured by the marketing of this as a must-have to improve website performance With the default settings it did very little to improve the performance on my small B B with booking system site Once I tried to customize the settings it broke my site photos disappeared functionality dropped just as I was trying to finish building and launch it It set me back 2 days and caused some panic I m sure it works for some and I don t have the time right now to write back and forth with support and troubleshoot to see if there is a way it will work anticipate you will need time for that It would be great if there was more clarity as to what when it can break sites I was able to un-install it and recover the original settings

The plugin overall is pretty good for speed optimisation Be aware that they have a very rudimentary billing system so if you need to upgrade your plan to allow for more sites you will be charged the full amount of the upgrade for the year but the renewal date remains the same meaning a user who purchases a higher plan up front will get the full twelve months of value however if you purchase a lower level plan and upgrade 9 months into your first year like I did they don t pro rata the upgrade cost they essentially charge you for the full 12 months and are somewhat unapologetic about it Other premium plugins will pro rata which seems much more fair

In one year of use I experienced good and bad scores without doing any modification on my website Also they improved some settings for not breaking your website Aniway I can t pass 60 percent score in the Lighthouse and a B grade in GT metrix now Keep in mind that in the last 3 months I had an A score in GT metrix without doing any major setup Only regular updates to my plugins Without the plugin my score is C on the Gt Metrix and in Lighthouse is barelly the same So is not quite advertised but of course it gives some improvement I had also a big score but with my website broken so I can t mention those days of frustration and time spent to figure out what was the reason of that

Recent update has vanished cache tab which is totally unacceptable to ones like me who prefer to have customizations available rather one universal setting for all It should be reversed

Nice plugin and does it s job most of the time but it doesn t come without it issues due to breaking website now and again with caching issues Usually easy to resolve but it does get frustrating The best of a bad bunch of plugins

Yes it s a very good tool with good performance and a good technical support but paying 60 year 47 with the discount and not counting the separate cost of the CDN is a no-no My WordPress site doesn t generate any revenue so I m going to opt for a free solution or a maximum of 30 year solution I ll probably lose a bit in loading speed but that s fine Sorry but goodbye WP Rocket

I ve been using WP Rocket for a while and while the product works well when it s fully functional I am disappointed in their approach to handling known issues This is the reason I can only give 3 stars Recently I discovered that WP Rocket doesn t automatically clear cache files for Custom Post Type CPT archives on mobile After contacting support I was provided with a helper plugin as a workaround While this plugin solves the issue it s frustrating that WP Rocket refuses to integrate this fix into the core plugin This means I now have to install the helper plugin on all sites using WP Rocket which is a lot of unnecessary work It seems odd to me that WP Rocket wouldn t want to resolve a known bug within their core software especially given that this is a service I m paying for across multiple client sites I want a caching solution I can rely on without needing extra plugins to cover known bugs This decision feels like a lack of commitment to providing comprehensive service and support to their user base When my subscription expires I ll be looking for a more reliable alternative that addresses all users needs directly in their core product
