Picked up a smart plug starter kit here cheaper than the big brands. Hardware works fine once connected, responsive switching and reliable scheduling through their app over five months now. The setup process was the painful part: instructions assumed a hub I did not receive, support took three days to clarify that newer firmware pairs directly, and the printed quick-start sheet was outdated entirely. Once running it has been stable with zero dropouts. Good value hardware let down by sloppy documentation and slow first-line support.
