I ve purchased from Ulta for many years

I ve purchased from Ulta for many years and have always been satisfied I love that I can try products and get recommendations from employees It s also nice to know that I can return a product if I m not satisfied I noticed that someone left a review about Ulta not accepting a return I ve never had trouble with that myself but I do know that their policy states they have the right to refuse a return if they feel a customer is taking advantage of their generous return policy I m surprised to see so many negative reviews I hope when reading reviews that customers keep in mind the situation of the world right now Someone mentioned that Ulta was out of birthday gifts I ve had that happen as well but I don t feel it s fair to fault Ulta for it For one reason It s a FREE gift You literally don t even have to make a purchase in order to get it There is a world-wide supply problem that affects pretty much every industry I know because my business faces the same problem I realize that Ulta may be telling you to come back on a certain day and then when you come back they still don t have the product and they tell you the delivery date will now be on a different day From a business standpoint I totally understand what Ulta is going through I m constantly giving my customers a backorder date and then when that date rolls around the manufacturer may come back and say sorry we couldn t get enough materials to make the product which then leaves me having to tell the customer that the information we gave out was incorrect Also there are times that we may expect a shipment and tell the customer it will be here on a specific day but then when that day comes we can check the tracking and the shipping carrier has changed the delivery date A lot of these issues are out of Ulta s hands Same goes for anyone complaining about slow shipping of their purchase It s unreal how many shipping delays or lost shipments that are happening right now I just received a return from a customer that took 6 weeks to make it 2 states over I hope people can learn to be a bit more understanding in situations such as these While I love Amazon I think they have spoiled people when it comes to getting their shipments quicker Please understand that other companies do not operate like Amazon Keep up the great work Ulta
