I have been a customer of Fidelity since 1987 The service has been amazing Fidelity employees have gone above and beyond many times for me I wanted to let others know about a new service provided by Fidelity If you give them at least 250k to manage they only charge at most 1 to manage the money -- which is very competitive they include the absolute best financial analysis of all your investments including investments outside Fidelity and real estate I have ever received Much better than ones I paid thousands of dollars for My advisor is knowledgeable not only about investing but also spotted tax and estate issues so that I could reach out to experts in those areas for advice I got the best long term financial analysis we ever had which took into consideration both good and bad times This analysis has made clear in a way no one else did that we had important matters to consider that should be addressed sooner versus later Matters that were never mentioned in any of the other many analyses we had done over the years I also get access to IPO allocations which my friends using other brokerages do not have Plus Fidelity does NOT pay its employees on commission but rather on customer satisfaction so they aren t there to sell you something but for you to feel well treated I would recommend them for both the novice investor as well as for the sophisticated investor Their website is amazing I find new resources every time I take some time to search further All these resources are free with my account as are all my trades plus I have no account fees Lastly they have some of the best performing mutual funds in most categories and I think almost all of them are no load no transaction fee funds
