I have been a hotwire customer for many years and have found it to save me money and give great service Please understand that you are not going to know what hotel or car rental company you will have until you have paid So if a specific hotel location or amenity is important to you this is not the place for you But if you are just looking for a comfortable clean room at a below market price and exact location is not important just a general neighborhood this works On occasions where they tell me the hotel and it is one I have had bad results with they have always been able to switch hotels I am a long standing customer so they probably do more for me than with a first timer The star ratings are usually spot on with occasional glitches If they say a hotel is near the airport or near the convention center it always is Hotels are almost always at a better price than elsewhere Car rentals are not always so so compare The fees can eat up the savings you will get Also remember that people with a gripe to air are more likely to post than people with good experience
