Let me start off by saying I hated history in school But now eons later listening watching to History Hit is a joy The format app streaming allows me to listen watch wherever I am and the content is a fresh take on old history Special shoutout to Dr Kate Lister s podcast Betwixt the Sheets which is what lead me to subscribe to this program and more That podcast describes sides of history that I didn t even know existed Keep up the brilliant work

Absolute excellence

I listen to about 10 hours a week I appreciate the excellence and knowledge each host brings and really like the guests The fact that the guests recognize the importance and quality of the shows comes through I recommend it constantly

Such an abundant array of all types of history catered for means there s always something to sink your teeth into and learn about and explore further Not always filmed with the budgets of large channels however the knowledge and passion is there from the presenters which makes it all the more enjoyable and fascinating to watch

Good stuff

Dan Snow presents a vast amount of history in an always digestible form It s real life drama great entertainment and new knowledge all at once

The History Hit stable is a rich and growing source of fantastic insight and historical enjoyment from some of the best historians that can be found The commitment to provide great programmes and podcasts but without being shallow or sensational is so refreshing There is a great team working their socks off Go and enjoy the output

I love the broad range of shows

I love the broad range of shows topics platforms podcasts and hosts There s so much variety it s almost too hard to keep up with It s amazing to be able to access so much history in one spot and with minimal biases or political opinions

Great range of programmes

I love the range of programmes available on the podcasts particularly and I have explored some very different content that I never thought I would from the Ancients to Medieval to even the saucy Betwixt the Sheets which I love I started with Dan Snow s original content and love the Not Just the Tudors too Keep it up Just starting to watch the programmes so can t comment on that

If you absolutely love all sorts of history then you have to sign up That s all there is to it I joined because there was something specific I wanted to do watch but then I found myself listening to a podcast on Marilyn Monroe There s something for everyone
