Installed a 30 000 Mitsubshi split HVAC system and totally bungled the job Poor craftsmanship poor communications never cleans up thier messes and left me freezing during the holidays

AVOID this company They are overpriced and unethical During the hottest day of the month my heat pump failed I contacted Aire Serv of Huntsville because I was pleased with the maintenance technicians who had worked at my small townhouse in the past Using arguments that favored replacement rather than repair Aire Serv personnel promoted potential 8 000 00 rebates that I could receive if I purchased a system meeting the requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act passed by Congress a month before After opting for the installation of a new system I learned that the rebates touted by Aire Serv applied only to systems installed after January 1 2023 So I m not sure why Aire Serv personnel brought up the rebates given that they didn t apply to my purchase Closing the deal quickly is what I suspect was Aire Serv s goal taking advantage of my situation Now I m stuck with what amounts to a monthly luxury car payment for two years without the benefit of the substantial rebates promoted by Aire Serv Had I known that the cost of the ridiculously high-priced heat pump system would not be offset by any new rebates or tax credits I certainly would have thought twice about the purchase Aire Serv never accepted any responsibility for their misinformation and unethical sales tactics and refused my request for a 10 fair and reasonable refund A lesson learned the hard way about Aire Serv of Huntsville

Very poor business practices

We were told the charge was 139 to come out and diagnose the issue with the A C We were told if we elected to have Aire Serv do the work the 139 is typically taken off of the bill and they just charge for the repair After your technician discovered it was a blown fuse he changed the fuse and then told us the cost would be 361 38 We asked him to show us an itemized statement because this seemed very high for the work done The technician said he could not show us any type of itemization We paid the bill Two days later after the 4th of July holiday we called the local Aire Serv in Edmond OK The manager told us it is a computer generated process and they do not know how the pricing is done The manager went on saying that they have to pay for technicians vans an office repair parts etc and that last year they only made a 3 profit My husband asked who could explain this computer generated bill to him The manager said the owner could He asked to speak to the owner The manager said Oh you ll never be able to speak with him That was the end of the conversation I think their business is based on people buying annual contracts for service If you don t have one you get very poor treatment In the billing email it included a contract for the Aire Serv Advantage Plan for an additional 213 We called Aire Serv thinking they were a reputable and trustworthy company This is a shameful way to do business We will file a complaint and let the community know via our reviews

I made the mistake of calling aire

I made the mistake of calling aire serve again I truly regret giving them another chance to screw me over I had them install a furnace for me back in 2018 I thought that the new furnace was a lot better heard alot more air coming from it come to find out they only put screws on the front of the sheet metal that goes over the A coil and just taped the reste of the seams very poor work On 12 22 23 I heard a dripping sound coming from my water heater I made the mistake of calling Aire Serve and thought that since they had installed the water heater for me in 2019 that they mihght give a break on the repair I was so wrong and feel so stupid for giving them another chance the first technician diagnosed the problem as a bad tank and said it needed to be replaced when the 2nd technician showed up he found out the drain vave and leaking were it went into the tank and charged me 400 to replace the drain valve My washer and dryer needed to be removed to acces my water heater and they wanted to charge me 250 to remove it I had friend help me instead and it took less that 10 minutes to get it outI will never give Aire Serve another chance to burn me again and will tell almost every one I meet what high prices they charge and what poor quality work they do

Avoid This Company

Failed to install pipe insulation for water pipes to from the baseboard heat registers Without these the system doesn t work Hooked into my water supply before the sediment filter and didn t install a new one Without it sediment will quickly destroy the system They used my tools and broke them They used a new towel to clean their pipes ruining it They didn t clean up their mess including cigarette butts They tried to get me to pay extra beyond the contractual price They said they passed inspection the 1st time This was false

This is a business that you should stay far away from

This is a business that you should stay completely away from They said that they would clean my vents but they did not clean my dryer vent and when i asked them to come back to clean my dryer vent they said that it wasn t included in the contract I talked to them and they said that they cleaned ALL THE VENTS but obviously they did not clean my dryer vent so they did not clean all vents so if you have them to clean your vents make sure that you are specific on what you want them to clean Do not go by there word when they say they will clean your vents

In serious need of Geography lessons

My A C broke down on 4 18 I have a home warranty and contacted them to open up a claim They dispatched this company to come and diagnose The tech said it was the fan motor and it needed to be replaced He said he would report this to the home warranty company for approval and the faster we do it the faster it s approved Well today I get an email from the warranty company with a write up per the tech saying the A C is not to be installed in the southwest region so therefore it s illegally installed Funny how when the tech was at my house he never mentioned this to me However per Carrier the A C manufacturer Texas is in the south east region Also per ICC standards Texas is in the south east region I called the warranty company back and they said to contact the contractor Air Serv of Harlingen Upon talking to Angel the owner of the company I asked what specifically he was referring to that said Texas was in the south west region and he couldn t tell me He only said according to the U S I said that he was wrong and according to the manufacturer and ICC Texas is in the south east region Why would our home builder illegally install all these A C units I asked my neighbors and their units also have the do not install in the south west tags Is the whole neighborhood illegally installed then So while Air Serv of Harlingen and the warranty company are in need of some geography lessons my family is still without A C Moral of the story how are you going to claim there s a sticker on the unit that says not to be installed in the southwest FROM THE MANUFACTURER but then ignore the manufacturers map on where the southwest is Truly pathetic service

These people are crooks up selling all their services charged me close to 400 for a pound of freon DO NOT USE THEM
