First quote I got over the phone was acceptable issue was that on receipt of written confirmation found that it was a completely different quote for a different car Apparently the incorrect registration was used on the written quote After further calls the issue was resolved but how is there no verification of the qoutes

I have no problem with the product or the very helpful person on the phone It is the accompanying technology which doesn t work as it should I found it impossible to get into the details of what the policy provides and was continually referred back to putting in an acceptable password

Hi At this moment in time I have only recently opted to take out Gap Insurance and have not yet had to make any claims so I cannot comment on the efficiency or customer service relating to that but so far the actually apply for the 4yr cover online was straight forward and a good price quoted

Firstly
we were in credit with ALA on a previous policy we cancelled we did find a cheaper deal with another company but did not want to lose our credit we stayed with ALA as they matched the cheaper price although we had to use our credit to achieve this so will only know going forward if this was the correct decision if we have to make a claim

Unbelievable Red tape
Firstly you need to have a think about the recognisability of your brand I think I took out Gap Insurance with you but to be honest I don t recall the name The call itself was really good There is obviously something about how you go about your business and brief your staff that works very well The young lady I spoke to was really helpful I was impressed Finally it was only because I was so pleased with your call handler that I responded to your email as a rule I do not respond to no reply emails and I won t be doing so again

I ve been invited to review this GAP
I have had this RAC cover for 12 months and never claimed I decided to buy another 12 months cover but the requirements to gain the cover have been changed Even though my BMW has a full manufacturers service history which is required every 2 years or 18 000 miles RAC required another service even though the car has only covered 7000 miles in a year So as yet I have not had to test the RAC warranty with a claim so I am wondering how much red tape will be involved to get a claim passed

I ve been invited to review this GAP product but I m unsure why I ve only taken out the policy 2 days ago and feel that the best time to post a review is if and when I have to activate the policy Hence 3 Stars

Ticks all the right boxes
I have given this 3 stars as I have only had this insurance for 1 week Ala compare favourably with others in this market ticking all the boxes I hope I never have to claim but if I do then I will be able to give a more detailed review
