Im a new member and was having some issues after trying via chat Alex was kind enough to call me and actually walk me through the whole thing Alex is awesome and A 1 So I hope he gets some kudos from Altra for not only doing his job but going above and beyond what he really had to do It was such a pleasure

My representative I believe her name was Jane was very friendly and informative I called to add travel notes to my account and she even recommended a service to me for travel While conversing I wondered if there were any branches in Washington state and she let me know about the option to search partnered credit unions in the area She was great

Best banking option out there period

I used ING for banking before they were bought by Capital One I loved how they would answer as a human without an ivr I could talk to someone who had the authority to get things done I ran as fast as I could away from them after the buyout Went through a bunch of credit unions with less than stellar results I found Altra and have worked with so many helpful people I immediately moved all my personal and business banking to them I have literally never had a single complaint through the years They are my go to for everything financial Please don t change Altra A quick special shout out to Chris Harrison on the business side and Monica La Fleur on the personal banking side You are part of what makes Altra great

Great Customer Setvice

Wow what can I say but how pleased we were to combine our two auto loans with Altra Federal Credit Union They make it so easy and with Great rates We even applied for their Credit card and transferd a balance from another card because Altra s rates were lower then the others Monica and Elizabeth from Onalaska s office are Rock stars at their jobs So nice so professional and they really know their jobs and treat you like family Because of Staff like Monica Elizabeth gives Altra a Great reputation an excellent customer service Kuddos to you both

The main thing that makes the company great is the way that it treats its clients like family members Altra in my experience is one of the best credit unions around and it certainly has made me look at banking a lot differently than in the past After my experience with Altra I would not go back to a traditional bank and in my mind traditional banks could learn a lot from credit unions such as Altra In a five star rating system I would give them a ten

Melody my personal banker was outstanding in every way She has a dynamic personality and is kind patient and filled with knowledge She is a student of her profession and knows it well I m so happy that she was the person who helped me open my personal and business checking accounts

My routing number was compromised on my

My routing number was compromised on my checking account I have had this same checking account for over 20 years I was devastated The fraud department was very helpful in getting a new checking account opened The lady I spoke with was very patient and walked me through each process I am forever grateful She always was able to get the funds compromised transferred back to my account the same day She told me she would watch my account to make sure paychecks were deposited to the correct account It feels good knowing someone is watching out for you

Excellent Employees

Altra has been phenomenal in helping me keep up with and manage my finances I recently spoke to Narcica and Mara I hope I spelled that right from the loans and credit services departments and they were absolutely AMAZING in helping me pay my auto loan I called in about 5 minutes before closing and they were so nice and eager to help and it felt like they were treating me like heir own family Narcica hopefully Especially was so eager to help me save money and find the best way to pay for me These ladies definitely deserve a raise

Excellent service great benefits kind staff

Staff at Altra are personable and kind Not only is there no fee for checking but you get interest I had a great experience getting my first mortgage and with refinancing when the interest rates had dropped My debit card has been protected by fraud alert staff It just feels both safe and homey to bank at Altra Even though I moved to the Twin Cities over 8 years ago I ve continued to keep my money at Altra because of the positive experience I have had there
