Altra is a customer friendly place

When going to the credit Union and feeling my usual little anxieties at such times or calling in for an agent which I don t want to do I feel relieved by the warm and friendly way they try to fulfill the request even it s something out of their range I ve been with Altra since about 2009 It s a specially good place for banking

I do most of my banking online There have been several times when I needed help from one of the staff to complete a more complex banking issue In each of those cases I ve found whoever I ve dealt with to be very competent and very helpful to achieve my goal That personal touch contrasts with the impersonal hands-off approach from national banks

I was helped with a billing update issue with Jeri Lee Weigel She was a GEM to work with Provided me with options to get me setup and saved me additional charges to ensure I wouldn t miss a payment Folks like Jeri should always be highlighted someone who takes care of the task at hand with a great warm welcoming attitude

Upon entering Altra FCU in clarksville I was greeted by all the personnel I opened an account for myself and 2 education accounts for my grandchildren The ease and simplicity of doing so in the office made me feel confident about choosing Altra for local banking Later that year I up graded one child s account and opened a savings and checking for my grandson who needed a bank in town Altra has been most helpful and provide the tools I need to get my banking needs done Thanks to the staff at Clarksville branch

Competitive rates and anytime I have called 1800 or the local banks either one for help I have always gotten it Decent support the only gripe I have is that my closest bank location never keeps its people long I have stopped even TRYING to memorize the names of the latest staff lolLove what they do for community outreach I would like to see more businesses helping the local area

Jackie Is THE BEST i was having a rough time this year financially and I was behind on my car loan payments I was so stressed with all of the things happening in my life i thought my only option was to default on my loan and give up my car Jackie not only helped me with a plan to keep my car and still make payments but gave me the encouraging words I needed to hear in my darkest hours She is truly a diamond amongst coals
