Very very disappointed with the way money is taken from your bank before the policy is up I ve been with A Post insurance for many many years and normally I m rewarded with a discount when I speak to an agent but money was taken before any conversation Colin Duffy

My insurance went from 400 euro to 1000 euro once i made a claim for a small accident that was my fault What is the point in having car insurance when you make a claim and the price goes up this much

We recently had a flat tyre and called the support number They did not give us a chance to organize the time for car collection and showed when there was no one at home and when we called again to set up a time they refused to give us service

this is my second year with An Post

this is my second year with An Post Insurance but not by choice I had an accident in March 2024 which was my fault I had NCD protection on my policy yet the cost of my insurance went from 356 for 2023 2024 to 778 for 2024 2025 - with no good reason provided by An Post agents other than to say this is what comes up when they enter my details to add insult to injury my claim is still not settled after 7 months this meant no other insurance provider would give me a quote Awful awful service from An Post really had me in a bind and left me with no option other than to pay this outrageous price for my insurance will be telling everyone i know to stay away

An Post Insurance renewed the insurance without pre-authorization from the client who had already signed up for a new provider Automatic renewal should be opt-in not opt-out If any charges are made in that renewal they will be marked as fraud charges

An Post Insurance are a money gouging company If you are an elderly customer with many years of claim free driving they will load extra charges onto your insurance costs at will They do not care one iota for you as a loyal customer they just see you as an easy target to gouge more money from you

Do not get pet insurance from AnPost Absolutely terrible insurer behind the policy I made one claim which was paid but then they tried to raise my premium by 35 saying it was because of my dogs age breed 2 5 year old and a small pedigree They also said his acute illness was acturially judged to be chronic and was now a preexisting condition and wouldn t be covered any more They tried all this on an automatically renewing policy and when I blocked the renewal they got angry and I had managers phoning me and getting angry why was beyond me Most unprofessional and they didn t explain the premium hike and couldn t explain it properly Do not insure your pet with them The insurance company is not to be trusted

The site always says blocked when you try to find out the cost When I tried to talk on the phone the operator spoke incoherently so it was impossible to understand him He told me to learn English and then contact them Rude behavior

Unresponsive and unsolved

I sent a package abroad with insurance with An Post It contained jewellery worth around 400 and was told it was insured However my package was lost and despite months of efforts no solution was offered First they said the package had arrived in Germany but the wrong content was delivered to the recipient Neither An Post nor DHL Germany take responsibility and are forwarding it to each other

Tried to get through several times but someone left my file open and the new operator couldn t open it Ended up paying online Annoying that they won t send my policy in the post and I have to print it off myself Its fine if you have easy access to a printer but not everyone does An post want zero interaction with its customers
