If I can review and give 0 stars I would Do not waste your time and work here Everything is good until their system glitches and says they cannot verify your identity and issue immediate termination with no point of contact before the problem arises I sat in training for 4 weeks completed every homework sometimes up to 1hr after training and finally accepted hours for employment once training was completed My account was closed with no explanation when I contacted arise via email they stated that my account was terminated because they cannot verify my identity Even though they have a signed affidavit before classes began with photos to prove identity It s been almost 1 month and the account is still not restored even when I complied with every request asked from Arise to have employment restored because clearly an error Email sent to registration arise send proof of identity with 2 minutes of request and nothing after no response at all then I reached out to compliance arise and to questions arise Someone followed up on 05 12 2023 and requested more documents and stated that they will forward to necessary party I am the only one that is following up and I m guessing it s because I m the only one not working but actually working to get my account restored After today I gave up trying I have never failed a QA once and if this is how they treat their employees I am glad I dodged that bullet i will keep looking for work and promise myself to read all reviews before working for a company like this for 4 weeks with no compensation and working hours I still have not received payment for I could go on and on but my thing is run find another company keep running its a waste of time their turn around is extremely high this place is a revolving door I wonder why Your company has failed me and so many others when people work it s not because they have nothing else to do IT S BECAUSE they need the money So playing around with people s time and money is bad and your company should see these things as an urgent matter your practices are indecent and selfish with no morals and bad ethics and absolutely with no consideration because you dont care all you are going to do is hire another batch of people to train and work for free Then they wanted me to train again for free because of their system mistakes RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Everything you have read before in the previous reviews is 100 on point and I m talking about the 1-star reviews I had the unfortunate experience of working for this company for around 2 years and being a bit of a desperate case at the time due to certain circumstances I learned very early on that I had to grit my teeth and persevere knowing that working for arise was indeed a certified dead-end job Pros - Get paid on time Cons - Minimum wage- High platform and IBO the middle man woman fees depending on which IBO you get For example in my case If you worked for only 3 hours in a week due to not getting intervals because of the cruddy system they have in place then it would mean you worked those 3 hours for free because of the platform IBO fees - You maybe get one pay increase for it only to become irrelevant shortly after because of the convenient increase added to the fees from the IBO - When there is a technical issue from the side of arise then all you can do is stand by while they sort it out and they give you a waiver so you don t get penalized but at the same time you don t get paid for the time wasted because of their glitchy system you could be sitting for hours trying to TS - When the intervals hours are released every Thursday everyone has a 15-hour cap meaning you will only be able to get 15 hours on the day of release and more are supposed to become available the next day usually around 12pm but here is the thing they all go by that time so the maximum you get will be 15 hours its been like this for over a year now - The support system is very lackluster and as you probably have read in the previous reviews the live chat which consists of supervisors and performance facilitators is hit-and-miss when dealing with them Some of them are just outright rude and arrogant - No employee benefits of any type no holiday pay no sick pay etc The bottom line is unless you are a desperate case then you should steer clear of this company and save yourself the time and effort and instead put that energy into a course that can elevate you and give you the opportunity to actually have a proper and consistent sustainable source of income Thankfully I was able to get back into my preferred field of work which is in IT Network engineering which is a night and day difference in comparison Have confidence in yourself and know you are capable of doing better

Dreadful company Avoid at all costs
Firstly be aware that this is not a large organisation but a tin pot outfit that appears to be run by a handful of people whose sole job is to part potential employees from their money I joined a training course - for which I had to pay 49 - for a customer service role I had 20 years experience in this type of role but was tired of people moaning at me every day This role was advertised as inputting orders not dealing with complaints However this was misinformation at best The majority of the calls were people complaining My main issues though are with the quality of the training and their lack of interest in you after you pay your fee We were not trained to deal with the issues raised The first 5 calls I received were nothing to do with any of the training we had received When I raised this issue I was told I would get used to it Things didn t improve The questions I asked our trainer by email went unanswered - as did most of my emails After I left the course I requested a refund of my training fee because I believed they had taken this money under false pretences - namely that they would provide full training untrue for a job taking orders not dealing with complaints untrue We were advised we would work a minimum of 20 hours per week and would pay them 40 per month as an ongoing fee It also turned out that they couldn t guarantee 20 hours but wouldn t reduce the monthly fee in this event I received no reply to my email - or to any subsequent emails Unscrupulous company who only care about raking in course fees and have no interest in their employees They will promise you anything to hook you in but - be warned - their attitude changes immediately after you pay your course fee

Revenue is not enough to run a business
Revenue is not enough to run a business off their platform The revenue rates are extremely too low for Business Owners to possibly be able to hire people They would have to hire agents at well below minimum wage and nobody wants to be a contractor with the revenue being so low Nobody wants to work or provide service because they feel like they are being scammed I will say that Arise is a legit company but the way they have things set up A company can not successfully operate a virtual call center off the platform as Arise does not pay the business owner enough for the agents service They do not pay more than most minimum wages in most of the states They claim it is because the agents are independent contractors That would only make sense if the revenue was enough for a business to either contract the agent or employ the agent Regardless Arise does not pay enough to do anything A business could easily go under with the wages Arise offers as nobody wants to work for or with a company partnered with Arise because the REVENUE IS TOO LOW You can make more money going to almost any fast food establishment or even a gas station The platform would be outstanding if they actually paid enough money to the business owner to be able to either contract an agent or employ an agent but they do not Which is no change at all as I have been around and with Arise since 2008 If I was a new business owner or one looking to get into the call center industry I would recommend gaining your own clients projects which can take some time research I do not think anyone can run a successful business off the Arise platform because the revenue is incredibly low

Shady tricky and want to pay you less than min wage
Shady they try to trick you so much to be able to pay you less than min wage Tech issues blocking accounts bad surveys from customers etc If a customer is waiting for 5 hours for a tow truck what kind of review do you want You get blamed for problems that the company MUST resolve not the customer service rep They forced me to take USAA Contract and offered me a Chat contract which I accepted Only to be told that with chat I was going to be paid min wage and the other pay premium A week after the two contracts were signed they told me I couldn t keep the two contracts it was one of the other and that I was going to be doing only chat Very convenient for them now I was going to make less than min wage When I terminated that contract and told them I was going to keep the premium contract not the chat they just blocked my account with all kinds of tech issues that tech support never resolved They had to escalate the issue - whatever that means to them- I was not able to work since the last week of October till today I just terminated my contract for the sake of my time Looking for a real contract and or a real job This is just a waste of time Stay away from the big scam

Favoritism runs rampid
This could be a great place to service for however a certain CSM has too much power and puts their friends and buddies in high positions they have no business being in nor the qualifications These friends never took one phone call ever and now are in the highest paid positions with the client on the platform If there was a complaint about them due to incorrect process given to the CSR agent or the treatment they give other agents they go unnoticed by the CSM and nothing is done CSM also overlooks agents who deserve to move up to better paying positions and gives those positions to people they bring from other clients on the platform There is no structure disregard for tenured agents and becoming a hostile work environment You are treated like a W2 employee with rules and demands the CSM creates on their own outside of the contract you sign If you do speak up you are subjecting yourself to your contract being termed because the CSM will find a loophole to get rid of you if you don t follow their rules I have seen great agents being let go because they questioned the CSM and the friends in high places Arise allowing these people to run the show and allowing them to show favoritism to agents that don t belong in the positions they are in just because they are long time friends is just wrong Those friends have job security and if anyone complains they don t last long on the platform There is no one at Arise to voice your opinion or complain about a person in charge They turn a blind eye If the client they represent knew how people are treated here they would dump Arise

Where to start
The job is simple The staff are just any old person not picky on who they hire The customer Success team are not there to support you Partner support will fob you off Technical support I m sure has 3 year olds resolving the issues Outside of this hours can be very difficult to get Flexible if you are willing to be all over the place for hours I ve seen contortionists bend less to get hours The systems are poor but this is your fault Oh and if you have issues you dont get paid be willing to lose several hours a week with issues that are unpaid but you need to still be at your computer Only bonus to it is the fact its self employed so you can work your wages to cover your expenses outside this just be careful Expect to have to argue and fight to get through the month

MINIMUM WAGE JOB WITH MAXIMUM STRESS NOT WORTH IT
To begin with the director of this company is Mohit Thukral The company is on government site for company house ARISE VIRTUAL SOLUTIONS LIMITEDCompany number 06370708 I saw the advert for customer service job which was fully working from home or rather run your own call centre With no travelling involved I thought it would good So like any other standard job recruitment process received an email applied for it and had to go through several different tests before I was selected and need to pick up the training hours which I thought was brilliant I was informed as it is a fully remote work I will need either a laptop or a full computer system with a wire connection as wireless connection won t work and I can t use adaptor for my current laptop so it has to be a wired connection So I had to invest in a computer though I had laptop well after passing the connection test I had to attend training for a month which to my surprise was not paid my training was from 10am to 3pm with a 15 minutes break which I felt was terrible The trainer kept on saying that it is a big class than expected and hence she will have to to just go through the training THE TRAINING SESSIONS FOR A MONTH WERE UNPAID So it was my time which I was giving this company without getting paid a penny this is something I experienced for the first time in my 20 yrs of working Someone talked about 15 minutes break being too short the reply was on the lines that we have to hold it in nothing much can be done which i thought was terrible as someone could develop serious health problems with following that advice Well the training was for Nespresso While attending the training I was told that I would not be just taking the calls to take the order for the coffee but I will be talking all the call complaint tech order calls and basically everything THE PAY IS NATIONAL MINIMUM and not a penny more So basically I am not paid for a month for my time I had to buy a new system and I am dealing with all the calls While still training I was given some super confusing matrix of how I can improve my points to get more hours THERE ARE NO FIX HOURS HOURS GIVEN IT IS BASED ON POINTS SYSTEM Once I started to work I was told that in a week I need to attend at least 2 training sessions which were again NOT PAID as it is for my development for me to get my points I have to attend these WOW sessions of 1 hour once a week of my personal time again they were not paid After going live on calls I realised that it is far more terrible than that customers are rude and abusive While on calls I could chat with senior advisors PF for help Most of the time they were helpful however some of them were absolutely useless and terrible They were rude and treat new joiners as though they are stupid and brainless not just my experience but everyone else s experience as we made a WhatsApp private group The entire experience of being there was terrible During training I was told that there would be many hours available during Christmas so me and other who joined with me were super excited as we all thought that we will be able to make some money however for whatever reason as ARISE was providing terrible service to Nespresso Nespresso decided to give less hours to ARISE so come November there were no hours available Also quality rating have effect on the hours released to work and they were another terrible team to work with I can t do anything if I disagree with them on anything there was no proper channel to communicate Once a week I had meetings with another member who possibly been there for a bit long time and I had to discuss the quality and performance with them the tone they used was very condescending I feel sorry for people who work there as they feel that everyone around them is brainless except them While I was there they had quite few system issues and senior management was not available to update agents on what is the best way to handle this the agents have to make up their own mind which I felt was very incompetent of them 90 of my call were either tech calls as coffee machines kept breaking or customer didn t receive their order and customers would shout and swear and there was nothing you could do At times the entire day I did nothing but apologise on behalf of everyone My days working with ARISE NESPRESSO were very very stressful especially for the pay The working hours are irregular and I was told that to improve my rating I need to work all the hours I can get Had to work on call while being in calls on wrap up times can t have urgent breaks Have to wait till the break We were 60 of us who had joined now only 2 or 3 working Instead of working for arise focus on your strengths and find something better to do I left as it was terrible place to work No hours available Terrible old systems

The hourly pay for these jobs is absurd
The proposed hourly pay for these jobs are insulting and absurd Then on top of that you have to train for FREE There must be really desperate or homebound people willing to do this

Everything started off good
Everything started off good NJ was a servicing state on the platform I spent over 1000 on legal paper work so i can be legit and so i can start a call center on the Arise Platform 2 months in I am told NJ is no longer a servicing state SO i ask can i still hire people in other states they said no A waste of my money and no help It is so difficult to get a customer service rep to talk too yet that is what the site is about
