After my mothers death at a nursing home her body was sent to a funeral chain who were very poor at communicating and I felt like I was just a number to the point I was told that I had to wait a week before I could have an appointment to discuss any arrangements It was appalling I reached out to Attwoods and they were brilliant provisionally arrangements were booked within an hour of my first call so I could provide dates of ceremony to family that had to travel And then I met with the team and they were compassionate professional friendly and efficient It is a strange thing to have to recommend a funeral directors but I can not thank Attwoods enough for the advice support and service they provided

Kate Mike and Sam at Attwood Funerals were all very helpful and accommodating Thank you to so much to them all for their help with arranging a funeral plan for my uncle taking him into their care making arrangements for a green burial at Humber Woodland of Remembrance and supporting me to give him the type of funeral he would have approved of simple and sincere and in a lovely peaceful place

My sister recently lost her husband Trevor and she asked me if I could help with his funeral I chose Attwood Funerals and I have to say that the service they provided was exceptional They are professional non-judgemental and very caring people nothing is too much trouble They answered queries and emails promptly and I can say I didn t have to worry about anything as they had it all in hand Attwood s prices are also very competitive I know because I have lost 3 family members during the last 8 years Their Celebrant Kate is a lovely lady and the service she conducted at the Crematorium was just perfect I had people come up to me afterwards asking who conducted the service as it was so personal to Trevor I would not hesitate at all in recommending Attwood Funerals
