Please don t confuse autoeurope co uk which are great with autoeurope eu I did this and they almost ruined my holiday They sent me a voucher not confirmed by the rental company had no reservation number in the right corner - who checks this They reimbursed me for all the additional costs after 2 weeks but not for my nerves and time lost

NOT CONFIRMED ON PAYMENT

So I booked a car in Miami for 7days from 20 03 2020 but because my hotel and flight were cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown I had to return the car and fly home on the 23 03 2020 so out of 7days I had the car for 3 I contacted Autoeurope when I returned as I assumed I would get a refund of the days I had not used Even in the current unpresiden situation my request was flatly dismissed A lesson learned for the future

No notification about cancellation

I made a booking with Autoerope the status of the booking was in processing and on the morning of the 1st day of the booking it turned out that the booking is canceled because the supplier didn t find any cars available I called Autoeurope support and only after my call they sent me an email with cancellation That is absolutely inappropriate to behave this way they should have notified me in advance not half an hour in advance before the start of my booking I used to be an Autoeurope client for a long time but probably I don t want to book cars there anymore

Offerings fluctuate enormously

If an option is presented for 1086 40 EUR I do not want to chose the only offer for 1294 20 EUR It s not a true and fair view of the offering It s over 200E difference Probably the communication on the offer should be clearer

2 issues I have

2 issues I have first is I paid there for additional insurance should have got the invoice per email but never got it Second is that I left my own cars documents in the rent a car I contact the Europcar hotline per phone explained them the matter and the problem They said that they will call me back from the Memmingen office This also never happened
