It was relatively easy to cancel a booking and make a new one Still haven t received back the money for the one cancelled but it says it takes 5-10 working days Prices are competitive and company is reliable as I have discovered by making quite a few bookings over the years As a point of attention the reason I cancelled my booking was because it was easier and less costly than modifying an existing one initially I ve intended only to shorten the length of the booking by one day due to change of plans but that would have cost me more strange

With Auto Europe we have good experience Easy to find out car company price Condition is a bit more difficult Is there ag Dutch translation Slowly the annulation is less easy 48 instead of 24 hours is less atractive to book long time before departure

Had a small issue during reservation but it got resolved well Overall OK so far

The booking reservation process was smooth But then for some reason the payment first failed at least is showed an error message so I retried and now I have TWO bookings I then tried to cancel one of it via the provided cancel link - but that didn t work Trying to contact the company via email twice showed no reaction I finally phoned them up and a very friendly person resolved the issue quickly So - a smooth experience with a few road bumps

I have been using Auto Europe for 5 years now and I m mostly happy One suggestion they should make proper rating for their suppliers Secondly i m never going to use a local supplier again Only multinational ones -Nitesh

Car rental booking feedback

For the moment booking and prepayment worked very well The only gap for improvement is that the Pre-register option offered with EUROPCAR doesn t work So it has been impossible to provide details on second driver s license permit Profile in EUROPCAR created but it seems it doesn t work for external bookings only for services booked directly with them Let s hope this is not an issue

Good prices for Car rental

Good prices for Car rental Site works quickly and is customer friendly I also like the free cancellation policy untill 48 hours before rental Only point of improvement could be the information about Excess Liability First I could not find what Full Damage Protection meant When you read on further it also includes refund of damage to glass wheels roof and bottom Sometimes you have to pay damage in advance to the car rental and later you can get your refund at Auto Europe You do not need to buy extra insurance at the car rental

I like that the booking process is easy and transparent Also I prefer always to book w Zero excess to avoid any problems when returning the car The support and response of the Auto Europe team is also very good and fast What I dislike is that the prices for same car and category is different if I log in w Germany higher price or Europe lower price This should not be the case as there is no reason for

Customer service incompetent in my case

Customer service in my case was incompetent sadly Reserved a car from Avis in KRK via autoeurope The voucher stated that the cross border is free of charge In KRK I was charged over 10 per day to be able to cross Over 60 altogether When complained no result since January 2024 after several reminders still nothing I consider it very rude and unprofessional I ve rented hundreds of cars during the years but have discontinued with autoeurope Update resolved Thanks AutoEurope Avis should have informed you about the change of their rules But you were flexible

Good booking but it takes time More info should be available at the beginning especially for the insurance cover

Most info were available at the website At the beginning I was confused with the insurance cover terms conditions I sent 2-3 emails to clarify the issue I was looking for a full insurance cover with no excesses no credit card block just pay the insurance and nothing to worry This is not possible I was also looking for partial payment with booking and the remaining at pick up point These two requirements couldn t be met so this is the reason why I give a 4 star rating After booking and payment too many stuff to read with instructions terms and conditions etc It is the first time I book a car so in general it was not an easy booking as it looks at the beginning Maybe because I was asking for many things
