Waste of Time

First of all I originally tried to set up my account with a Google number since I m overseas more than I m stateside The system wouldn t let me do it I called customer support and they didn t help at all They just told me that I needed a cell phone number or a landline to open an account otherwise I m out of luck I finally track down a number I could use signed up and took the time to place an ad for my property As soon as I did that my account was flagged and suspended for no good reason I didn t violate any terms They just want more personal info from me like a government issued ID and several other personal documents I wasted the better part of an afternoon thanks to this company

This Company is just another scam barely able to operate

This App looks awesome and simple on the frontend but as soon as you start using it you see every flaw the development team put out there Their PLAID API setup is not properly setup and it s clear they didn t read the documentation to put it in The Development team is so bad it s likely offshores like a 3rd party software company Their support is quick to dismiss there actually being a problem before even given the proof that there is something wrong with their system Like this is a system I am forced to use to pay rent I have no choice in this matter I ve called I ve emailed absolutely no support If your a Rentors this app doesn t help you much it gets it all together I guess in a bundled package but I would hate for someone to go through this process and not be able to pay you rent just because this company doesn t care

I m a landlord with 28 units and I migrated to the Avail platform It has been a nightmare I keep getting locked out of my account I got an email from the trust and verification team that I needed to prove my identity I did the verification three times and my account is still locked This has been going on for 3 weeks I call customer service and stay on hold for 30 minutes and can t reach anyone I ve sent emails with no response I ve opened trouble tickets in their online intake form no reponse I m truly stuck Tenants are claiming to have made payments on the site and I can t log in to verify The worst experience

I meet 2 different people that were

I meet 2 different people that were prospective hires for the company Both told me a story of creating fake listings and long drawn out reviews of the website prior to interviews neither got the jobs they were working toward Those fake rentals they created were still available Seemed like an easy way for Avail to boost their business and get free feedback on the site Id avoid

My experience with Avail has been great

My experience with Avail has been wonderful As a first time landlord this website has been extremely helpful For an exceptionally reasonable 5 per month I have been able to find renters process their applications and the necessary documentation for applications credit reports background checks and criminal history create a personalized lease and follow up with rent collection and maintenance requests Totally happy with the experience As for the banking logon information request which others have noted I opened a totally new and separate account from my regular bank accounts with a totally new and separate unrelated password and gave them that for processing my monthly rent I linked the accounts through the bank and can transfer money to and from the rental account as necessary without compromising my actual bank account Highly recommend

Safe Secure Smooth

As a landlord this platform is very easy to use safe and secure Ive been using it for 2 years with 2 different tenants and have not had a bad experience Every transaction has gone smoothly

Truly confused by some of the negative

Truly confused by some of the negative reviews because I ve had nothing but a great experience Everything is handled online They generate the lease agreements The lease is signed on-line Rent is paid online When I did have an issue user error I called and they immediately fixed the problem I caused Looking thru the reviews though I see nearly everyone is from someone who is misinformed For example linking your bank account Yeah that s normal When I applied for a home loan the lender had me link ALL my accounts including investment accounts using the same secured site Avail uses Plaid I pay 5 a month per unit and Avail does all the work Great deal in my opinion

Ease at Collecting All Monthly Rents

I have used Avail co to collect my rent from different tenants for two years It s always predictable and timely Avail notifies them a week in advance of when it s due confirms when it s scheduled and paid When I make mistakes or have questions the online staff responds quickly I pay a fixed 7 each month for any total payments including deposits and unlike venmo paypal etc there is no percentage charged I m asking this year s tenants to choose automatic scheduled payments Then I will have no concerns I see some of the complaints but I think people are trying to use it for other services Notifying tenants and collecting rents it does like a breeze

I am a landlord using Avail I have had a great experience using them for a year Their staff has been extremely helpful with resolving any questions Potential tenants do not need to do a credit background check to request and have showings That is only later if they decide they actually want to rent it There are scammers everywhere and everyone needs to do their due diligence Avail itself is not a scam only a management platform Blaming Avail for criminal intent is like blaming the car for allowing a drunk driver

Outstanding service Called customer service as a result of an error I had made during set up The representative taught me how to fix it and educated me on how to navigate the platform and its features Easy to get ahold of a representative and very attentive support
