Payment taken for a service I never used AVOID

After purchasing a VR headset I thought I d try some boobs in VR BadoinkVR offered quite a lot of videos at high quality and it seemed good so I subscribed During the subscription process I was offered free access to one of their partner sites I think it was a choice of 4 so I chose one Then after a few weeks the novelty wore off and I decided to cancel my subscription within the month and I received a confirmation that this had been cancelled A month after I cancelled I received notification from my bank that a payment had been taken for a service which I didn t recognise The name of the vendor bore no resemblance to either the name of the company or the original payment taken for my actual subscription I also noticed that they took a payment the month before which I hadn t noticed After a bit of investigation and trying to ascertain what services I might have purchased I asked BadoinkVR if it was them and they said that when I had chosen the free sample of their partner site I was committing to a subscription with them also I didn t receive any kind of notification from the partner site that my subscription had started or that any payment had been taken All BadoinkVR have said is that it s all explained in their T Cs I m now down 40 which in my opinion has been dishonestly taken from my account for a service I never even used
