I have just got my Border coat back from a service Superb job coat looks the same as when I bought it over 30 years ago Just shows what continued family ownership can do

I purchased a lovely navy quilted jacket recently and arrived within a week Very good quality jacket excellent cut and fit 16 which is my normal size

Have been to the South Shields shop several times over the past few years and found the staff were very friendly and helpful I don t always find what I m after which would typically be in the huge discounted section but do more often than not My last visit yesterday was noteworthy because we bought a waxed jacket for myself and a quilted jacket for my daughter the young man at the till said he would put them in different bags and went on to explain that the wax can transfer and that if you were to hang a waxed jacket in the wardrobe you should turn it inside out to avoid it affecting other clothing Seems obvious when you think about it but I wouldn t have thought about it until he made the effort to explain My wife and I both said what a lovely lad he didn t have to explain it but he did excellent customer service which is all to rare these days

Sent my Jacket for a seam restitch and rewax I had neglected to rewax for the last 3 years so did not expect it to come back looking as good It will never look new but it did come back looking close to The turn around was fast and how it was packaged for its return showed that it was cared for during the process Then again a Barbour is not just a jacket It s a jacket that if cared for is built to last

We purchased 2 jackets from the Barbour outlet in Castleford and I have to say the service was outstanding especially the manger they could not of been more knowledgeable and helpful Credit to your company Great experience

Great Rewax Service

I love the Barbour brand and my favourite wax jacket has recently been away for a rewax I couldn t be happier with the service Very quick turnaround and the jacket looks good as new

Who else repairs your 26 year old rain coat

I have four barbour jackets and the rest of the family have another five They are excellent and great value for money My oldest I bought in 1996 and a few weeks ago the zip broke this jacket is my old friend and has kept me dry through the worst storms so I didn t want to get rid of it Barbour offer a service for 30 to put a new zip in and so that s what I did two weeks later we are up and running again It doesn t get any greener than that Who else offers this service My latest is a Camo Smock which is a great style They are a brand which is always exciting to buy from

The clean and rewax service is without doubt the best thing I ve ever done re my coat 20 Yr old jacket looks like new Superb service and swift turn around Highly recommend
