Our Nightmare at BeLive hotels - STAY AWAY
I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO BOOK THIS RESORT They benefit from people s misfortune and illness We were a group of 3 families who booked 6 rooms in this resort 2 of the families had illness and severe injuries so they had to vacate 4 rooms one day in advance Since it was genuine case of illness and injury children fell and sprained leg seriously the reception agreed to refund the 4 rooms 1 day rate after we produce doctors certificate that we provided the next day Its been over a month now - we have sent many emails and called them many times - no response and refund So in short they benefitted by double renting out the rooms and still not provided us refund though they promised and we provided documents UTTERLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR Other Dislikes - No room cleaning unless you run after the housecleaning staff our room was cleaned 2-5 days only when we chased them - Lifts hardly work- Beach looong walk 20min down steep stairs not suitable for elderly or unfit- You have to even pay for TV remote and beach towels- Reception hardly manned only 1-2 people and looong queues I literally spent 30min - 1 hour waiting everyday

Belive hotel Orotava Tenerife
Currently staying at the Belive hotel Orotava in Tenerife my granddaughter was rushed to hospital last night with food poisoning this morning the manager refused to see us we pointed out that the majority of the eggs on the server were 2 weeks out of date he said they can still use them 10 days past their use by date Very disappointed with the management

We stayed at the belive experience we ve stayed at this hotel at least ten times over the the years it was a very good hotel but has had a big drop in standards over recent years talking to the staff they are so frustrated the food in the restaurant down stairs is always the same and always lukewarm we paid for a upgrade but had to ask for some of the money back as we could not eat most of the food the pool bar is better as the food there is hot the hotel is advertised as having aircon but it doesn t work when I asked about it the receptionist lied to us he said it had been broken for two days when I pointed out that it had longer than that he admitted it had been broken for to years and belive won t fix it We are very disappointed that they have let this hotel drop so far

Avoid this hotel at all costs
The first night we arrived we were BOMBARDED by staff to buy trips buy souvenirs To the point the followed us round the complex calling us ENGLAND saying you have lots of money why can t you support us IN THE HOTEL We had been here less than 30 mins They invited us to a presentation to tell us about there prime club which gave us access to the adult side of the hotel although this hotel is advertised as adult only After an hours presentation they told us the fees would be between 9000- 43000 A YEAR We were gobsmacked by this and they sat there with a straight face and told us we should be able to afford this because we are English and we apparently have loads of money We saved for 9 months to go on this holiday We woke up in the morning to water poring out of the toilet on to the floor We complained about this straight away nobody came to look at it we weren t offered another room In the end we just switched the toilet off ourself We have broken glass in our room Mould coming out of the bath tiles falling off the wall the doors are literally falling apart My fianc paid to have our room decorated with petals and swan towels This never happened I have only just found out about this as he didn t want to upset me But this is just another example of the complete lack of care Despite all of this we tried are very best to enjoy the time we have in such a beautiful country we tried to ignore the state of the hotel and the rudeness of the staff We were being charged twice what other people were being charged simply because we are British They have refused to help with any problem we have had My fianc had his trainers stolen from outside our room on the first night To be told they hadn t been handed in to lost property only to be told by one of the guests they had Seen a member of staff picking them up we eventually got the trainers back After problem after problem they now want me to sign a waiver that diminishes they of all responsibility towards personal injury liability property damage or any other claim which may arise for anything at all All because our wrist band had snapped and we requested a new one We were told to pay money for a new one even though we have already paid a large amount of money to be here in the first place After being bombarded by staff constantly for a week trying to sell stuff and getting very aggressive when we did not want to They now have tried to get us to sign this The alternative being we are no longer allowed to eat or drink on the complex They told us we either sign the paper pay the money or they will call the police and have us removed

Be Live Adult Only Tenerife - worst we have experienced
Be alive Adults Only TenerifeThe hotel needs a total refurb and more staff - it s so outdated and the concrete is crumbling with nets above some balconies to catch rubble Cracks chips weeds everywhere Food was cold repetitive and did not go together to allow you to put together a complete meal - long waits when something runs out due to lack of staff and slow to clear tables get drinks Most poolbeds are broken and not enough foam toppers for every bed - snacks on all inclusive very poor The upstairs bar has 1 person working so long queues and they run out of glasses frequently each night meaning you get a paper cup Sauna closed and no spa massage since pre-covid - staff said hotel had reduced to a 3 but still listed everywhere as 4 - reality is it s barely 2 and the worst hotel we have ever stayed in for facility decor food and entertainment We booked for Xmas New Year paying a premium price but got a reduced service including early closure Xmas Eve no animation team there is 1 new guy that does it all zero entertainment for Christmas Eve day - terrible chaotic Christmas meal of cold Turkey and chips not even any vegetables The usual entertainment program is absolutely dreadful - Spanish band played 5 times in our 2 weeks identical Spanish music sets I think and the locals filled the seating and dance floor so little room for guests New Years Eve all inclusive ended at 11pm so you couldn t even bring 2023 in with an included drink We spent hundreds going out and eating out The hotel is dirty and needs some serious updating - the beds are rock hard and they could do nothing to help the sciatica it caused me e g mattress topper extra blankets different mattress The bed sheets were rarely changed if ever in 2 weeks plus stained with holes - same with towels and curtains The balcony was tiny and not safe to use Felt like a dangerous concrete cell We have complained multiple times in person and latterly by email but hotel ignored us then fobbed us off and has now stated we cannot complain as only our agent can They claim whilst old they maintain the hotel to ensure it is perfect - I have many many photos of the reality and 30 people we met whilst there have or will be complaining

Be Live Experience Varadero
Where do I start I ll start with the good it s beautiful when you don t look too closely the private beach is quite nice the barmen that stay and wait for people all day and the rooms are pretty nice and they include a nice little balcony THE BAD Starting with the food I m 100 sure that whatever isn t finished is left out for the next eating period The meals are repetitive and the same things are offered for breakfast lunch dinner and snack They have a HUGE hygiene issue Every drink you have comes with something new floating in it they have a cockroach infestation as well running along the walls and on the serving tables inside of the eating area The food is just reheated with the exception of the main meat dishes and the cold dishes The sheets are stained the towels are stained I asked for 4 replacement towels before I just gave up because all of them were stained The hotel has a unique look but it is not well taken care of Paint chipped everywhere areas that are torn down but are openly on display the handle on my room door was broken and was almost coming off and overall cleanliness was just not up to par The alcohol is watered down and off branded Lastly if you have changed to their Pesos just know that it s not possible to use it in their hotel shops IMAGINE they don t accept their own currency Just dollars Euros 10x out of 10 I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone If you go to Cuba you might as well pay extra for the best option TRUST ME

Awful I stayed at the Costa Adeje hotel in Tenerife which is inaccurately advertised as a 4 star It s an absolute dump Pool area and rooms in need of refurb Staff need sacking All of them are rude hostile argumentative etc Food grim and bland

Treating your customers fairly
Had an issue with all inclusive package and damp bedding We asked to speak to Genaral Manager Jose We were informed that he would not be available until 930 We went to reception to be told he was in a meeting and would be available after that When going back at instructed time he could not be located either by phone or in person We eventually asked receptionist if he did not want to talk to us could we pass our concerns on to her It was at this moment Jose came out of the back of reception The outcome was a call to operator at Easyjet The operator spoke to Jose to explain that the downgrade needed to come from him At this point Jose informed us that he would resolve this and get in touch by phone taking our personal telephone number On arriving back to our room the bedding had been put back on the bed and was still damp We called reception who came immediately to the room and informed that we needed to speak to Jose before 430 Back down to reception and was informed that he had to go home and would not be back until Monday The receptionist Manager came out to inform us We had not received a call as promised Informed he had to go to which we pointed out that a call can be made no matter were you had to go The issue is no longer about the poor food and drinks or the damp bedding but about the constant lies and being treated in a disrespectful manner by a General Manager of a 4 Star hotel Jose would benefit from taking training from his staff as they were more than accommodating and honest

Amazing holiday I came here with my
Amazing holiday I came here with my family and we had the most fantastic time ever They are very helpful and always there if you need anything I would love to thank the animation team especially Shirley and rosemary for the entertainment with games for the days to keep everyone active I would definitely come back here again The staff in that pub Abdul and the pool staff Evan for there fantastic hospitality and service

The be live collection hotel
The hotel was a definite 4-5 The rooms were a nice size with a genius kings size bed and big bathrooms the pillows and mattress were very comfortable The activity staff were very friendly and worked very hard to ensure you had a great time but we re not pushy The pool was heated to just the right temperature and there were lots of activities to do The food was delicious and varied for all cuisines There was entertainment every evening and they also provided free shuttles into Marrakesh I cannot recommend this hotel group enough and will definitely be back for more
