Terrible App for Bird Scooters The English language version of the app is surprisingly unhelpful if you re trying to rent a scooter A button with something like Rent a scooter would be good Astounding that a business which wants customers to rent its scooters has such a useless app

Firstly - I am In ViennaThe good bitsThey are a very solid machineThey are good fun to whiz about onThe other bits They seem expensive There is not enough of them There s no suspension so even the little bumps are feltCobble stones are a nightmare

Bird is great except Their map makes it difficult to park their scooter around San Diego We were riding the birds all over the boardwalk and they made us park the scooter over 2 blocks away and walk back to the boardwalk Very disappointing

Customer service problems and issues with broken scooters

Many scooters have problems and issues You report it expecting a refund and the customer service attempts to convolute and confuse the issue refusing you said refund I reported two broken scooters both had to stopped and replaced with other ones that worked Once reporting the problems I received info on parking then told I had to report the issue before riding then the way I reported the issue was not the exact way sending a message to the co when reporting 1 star for the ride then informing me that I was not charged money I have the monthly subscription etc etc etc Seemed the responses were intended to confuse and waste your time Just BS I would suggest customer service gets their act together and LISTENS to customers Otherwise when they work they work as they should

Picked up a couple of scooters in fuertaventura We did 2 journeys about 20 minutes each and were horrified to be charged a total of over 80I wrote to them via email when I got homeThey gave me about 65 credit on my account When I replied saying I was unlikely to use it they then put the money in my bank

I have never ridden one and yet I am seeing a charge on my credit card I got ahold of them at 1866-205-2442 and they made it right They cancelled the charges and will not charge me anymore
