This company doesn t care about your property Please park your car as far as possible from bird scooters One of their users left the scooter leaning against my car and making a dent The company refused to deal with this situation There is no proper parking for those this They advertised it as a transportation but when hit and run happened they refused to do anything about it

Dangerous bird scooters

Used link scooters here last Christmas and they were great Reliable and as safe as a scooter could be Tried bird this morning Scooter look tired Found 3 scooters First two showed as faults reported Third one I hired but felt dangerous as if tyres were flat Swapped it with another one parked in a group of 8 This just about got me back to the hotel but felt worn out and made a clicking noise Avoid these dangerous uncared for death traps Bring back Link

DO NOT USE BIRD I wouldn t wish for my worst enemy to use a bird scooter I noticed that they had a promotion for 2 free rides in Doha using a promo code I entered the promo code and the app suggested that my first ride would be free At the end of my ride Bird charged me 127 Riyals I tried my absolute best to talk to someone at Bird but there s almost no way to get through to a representative You can t speak to anyone There is NO live chat It s literally impossible to speak to someone at bird so your only option is to get your bank to recover your money Good luck

Don t Do It

Was going to use these scooters while on a trip Loaded money into the account then realized you had to be 18 and our teenagers were with us In the help section it says you can request a refund of your account balance within so many days I immediately requested it and they just ignored it I have contacted them several times over the past 6 months and they literally just ignore you We do not have these scooters at home so I m basically just out 20 Don t use them customer service is terrible

Poor customer service

Had an issue on a ride in Calgary where the scooter just stopped working mid ride I saw there was another scooter ahead so pushed it over and parked there ended the ride and started a new ride on the new scooter and completed my journey Since I was charged the unlocking fee again I reached out to Bird for a refund but they said because I had completed both trips they could not refund This seems very short sighted as they could clearly see I parked a scooter in the same location and started a new ride 30s later which I would not do for any other reason than a ride problem so I shouldn t be charged another unlocking fee Also for 3 it seemed strange that they wanted to deny a refund rather than keep a customer happy I will certainly father Neuron scooters more now as a result of this Fortunately I disputed the charge with my credit card and got it refunded

Horrible bike

Horrible bike Stop unexpectedly many times during the trip in working zone Clearly some software issue because Lock Unlock in the phone will start the bike again Bad GPS so you might dive deep like 100m into a prohibited zone and then have a long walk back with a bike resisting you Whose idea is this in braking the bike like that And if you are at the edge of working prohibited zone your bike will surely stop at some point Lastly the lack of a simple phone holder make a long trip very inconvenience Another sign of putting some dumb ass in your design apartment

Scooter couldn t be parked anymore

In October I rented a Bird scooter on Margaret Island Budapest from a marked zone where several Bird scooters were parked When I wanted to park it at the same place I got a no parking zone warning despite several attempts Afterwards I tried for over an 1 hour to find a parking place but always got the warning despite later undoubtedly being outside the no parking zone Finally with the help of some locals we found a well hidden emergency phone no and we were told to just leave the scooter it was sunday Luckily it then stopped to charge our credit card and we got away with a manageable amount But with lots of trouble that day I made a complaint at least they responded and refunded a very small sum about 1 3 of the riding costs but constantly refused to take any responsibility and hid behind text modules So no real compensation The app s deleted now No wonder this dump company disabled Google Reviews

Negative 1000 stars

Negative 1000 stars rented a BIRD bike in Cherbourg after paying for a multi ride pass I couldn t park the bike when I got to my destination despite being told by the app there was parking nearby I was charged for multiple hours as a result BIRD didn t respond to my query then directly charged my card UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL I EVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE DO THE SAME

Regina Sask Scooter wouldn t go over 15kph no matter how many rides I took Helmet would not unlock on 3 out of 4 scooters machines randomly slow down and then quickly accelerate causing you to lose control Thinks your on a side walk unless you drive in the middle of the road pissing off motorist customer service is terrible spent over an hour on the phone trying to resolve issues there advice was just use a different scooter There us no scooters available compared to the other company in town so you need to walk 20 blocks to get to the next one all in all
