Rubbish Customer Service

HelloI used Evostik to stick down some vinyl The product claims to have specifi use plus many more After a couple of weeks the glue started to stain the vinyl turning it yellow I have complained twice through their website and once writing to Bostick s company secretary I am disgusted to have to say I ve had no response

Avoid Evo-stik The original sticks

I bought Evo-stik The original sticks like white to stick some upvc strips to finish off my windows Despite much pressing etc the only thing that this creates is a gooey mess Quite simply this is the worst adhesive product I have ever used in over 45 years It s overpriced and fails to remotely live up to its claim that it will instantly bond wood plastic brick metal stone plaster and many other materials with a virtually unbreakable grip I would have been better using the cheapest sealant adhesive I could find Do not go anywhere near this useless product I now have to fork out to buy more upvc strips as the gooey none adhesive mess has ruined them

Awful customer service

Awful customer service by Den Braven one of their subsidiaries They advertise with a 50 PU foam gun of which all parts are replaceable However when you call to inform about those parts since no reseller had these you ll get the answer that they don t sell them As I am typing this the line is still in the brochure On top of this the lady on the phone was very rude Don t do business with them

this Dustproofer floor hardener stuff is a scam 3 coats applied and floor is still just as dusty as before - why waste my time with this junk cant contact Bostik on their website because the email page doesnt work - clearly theyve disabled it due to so many complaints You might aswell pss on your floor it will have the same effect waste of time scammers scam

Pretty but useless

Bought the tape discs because they seemed a more elegant way of taping wrapped presents However I have used about 15 and nearly all of them had to be stuck down again with conventional cellotape making the packages look scruffy I can only imagine that these can only possibly work on the flimsiest of wrapping paper I ll be throwing these away

Avoid - grows mould like a petri dish

Refurbished 2 bathrooms approx 2 years ago Used Everbuild Forever White to seal around sanitary fittings but ran out and could not get anymore that day so bought Bostic S31 to seal the last shower fitting No signs of mould anywhere other than shower tray pointed with Bostik which has to be treated regularly with mould remover Bostik claim S31 is mould resistant That I would dispute and describe it as not fit for purpose
