Beware of joining Briliant org Our daughter signed up for the free trial to try it out decided she didn t want to continue so she canceled the subscription within the alloted time We were still billed not just a monthly fee but for a full year We had to file a dispute with our bank to get that back Two months later we just got billed again by them They have no phone number to speak with anyone when you go to their suport page they say that they do not give refunds that if you feel that you were mischarged to contact them through email give them your credit card numbers the transaction amount they will find why you were charged Our daughter has not been on Brilliant since the free trial period in double checking she was unable to log in appearing she indeed no longer had the subscription

Not serious and scammer s tactics

I am very disappointed with this site For the renewal of the subscription there is no recall notifications email and to desactivate the auto-renawal it is overly complicated and not intuitive at all It is complicated to just cancel the premium subscription so that your account can stay a free account Last year I took a full year subscription and i hardly ever used it On the day of the renewal luckily i got an email from Paypal that i will be charged for another full year subscription and since i couldn t find where to cancel subscription i delete my account Since then i have received no emails to confirm the deletion of my account or the cancellation of my subscription I have been charged for a subscription to an account that doesn t even exist anymore and i have no news from your support for my refund request

I ve experienced a deeply frustrating series of billing issues with Brilliant Initially after paying for a full year and barely using the service I intended to reconsider the subscription upon receiving numerous failed payment notifications However the process of unsubscribing was unnecessarily obscured within the platform s settings Even after navigating these hurdles and successfully unsubscribing the app continued to attempt billing an empty bank card This morning s events turned my frustration into outright dismay After a moment of consideration for possibly renewing for another year I decided to fully deactivate and delete my Brilliant account only to be met with an immediate and unauthorised charge for another year s subscription later the same day Shockingly when I tried to address this issue the platform informed me that my now-deleted account does not exist yet they still processed the payment What pushed me over the edge was the misleading pricing Initially tempted by the seemingly reasonable annual promotion of 9 59 per month I was shocked to find the actual charge to be an inflated 138 12 not the expected total of 115 08 This blatant discrepancy between advertised and actual cost is deceptive and was the final straw in my decision to terminate my relationship with Brilliant Despite promptly contacting their support to rectify these alarming issues I have received no response The continuous unauthorized billing the convoluted unsubscription process the misleading pricing and the unresponsive customer service are not only unprofessional but also feel deliberately deceptive This experience has been nothing short of outrageous and I strongly caution others against using Brilliant s services

There is no forum discussing issues concerning brilliant com Whether or not expected answers are right or explanations are consistent There is absolutely no transparency Nothing at all No hints to changes of any kind no comments of other users no forum where questions are discussed Either brilliant com has no users that remain on the platform or there interaction is somehow obstructed Both answers point in the same direction away

I appear to have gotten scammed for 85

I signed up for a free trial but cancelled it the following day One month later they charged me 85 and their customer support havent yet to respond

Be careful

I ordered a free 2-week trial but found it not to my liking so I tried to cancel it I admit that I am not the best with the on-line apps and whatnot I tried to cancel it but they had charged me 142 42 and told me that they don t do refunds after the free 2 week trial period - I think that I was a week late because I couldn t figure out how to get it done I responded with that s fine but please prorate it now and return the prorated difference They said that they don t prorate and that they are keeping all of my money So be very careful about the deadline for cancellation because they do not prorate like an ethical company I think that s how they make money rather than offering an enjoyable product

I subsribed for premium via Apple pay and never got the service I contacted Brilliant they blamed a glitch in their system but would not refund or fix and told me to see Apple I tried Apple and could not trace the purchase So now I actioned a dispute with my bank to reclaim the money What a lot of hassle for a poxy App Steer well clear of these scammers

IMPOSSIBLE to cancel subscription

It s impossible to cancel the subscription because the Cancel button is not working Here s the error message I received We re terribly sorry about this inconvenience and we are currently looking into what s causing it For assistance with this issue feel free to send a message to support They promised MathCount winners a year of free subscription However they charged me every month without informing me until I found out on the credit card bill Avoid this company at any cost

Overpriced and not worth it The lessons are poorly written and very thin Mathisfun com is much better and its free I would never recommend brilliant org to anyone Don t waste your money

Great app but poor customer service

First of all let me start with saying the content of this app is second to none Unfortunately I had some issues with their policies and reliability After taking the initial trial which was offered at one month I cancelled only after one week Still this organisation debited my account for the yearly subscription and when I raised the issue with customer service the reply I received was it s not in our terms and conditions to refund Even though I cancelled with in my cooling off period for the trial Please make sure you are going to us this app and are willing to part with the money
