To be honest BTCmarkets had been the most popular trading platform in Australia despite its high trading fees and the lack of liquidity until they faced a real competitor the Binance Australia Since the Binance Australia launched in the early 2021 the BTCmarkets has lost the leading position in Australia I had used the BTCmarkets since 2018 but I moved all my assets and funds to the new platform recently due to the reasons following 1 Trading fees are ridiculously high It starts with 0 85 and it could only be lower to 0 25 even you trade 2M per month Also trading volume is reset every month These fees are nearly 10 times expensive than other major cryptocurrencies markets such as Binance coinbase Upbit etc The BTCmarkets could only survive with these high fees because there have been no real competition in Australian crypto markets Most of cryptocurrency trading providers in Australia were technically immature greedy and lazy 2 Their system is very unstable and has numerous transaction errors sometimes They could not stop or block withdrawals when one of crypto network system is unavailable They even don t have any info systems for announcement If the system is unavailable or a transaction is stuck what a user could do is hoping their best and waiting until it is solved Tech team s skills are so bad they had to take so long time to solve a problem If you are using the BTCmarkets for deposit or withdrawal cryptocurrencies you should expect at least 10 of transactions would be stuck or delayed If it happens during weekends you must wait until next Monday because they are not working during weekends 3 The BTCmarkets does not support mobile app 4 Some of coins have serious liquidity problems and you may only see only bot which is being run by api

Took 4 weeks to verify account

Minimum amount of bitcoin to send to my wallet was over 11 00 which included a untold fee The fee was over 10 00 What kind of outfit is this mob 900 hidden transaction fee which does not appear on there history page of transactions for my account only the standard percentage rate I ll try to take my money out of this firm normally when this sort of thing happens they won t give any money back I also noticed while watching for hours the live prices people putting in the order book they would disappear and come back in seconds latter - right at the trigger price point so the orders did not go through Other orders came from nowhere right on price trigger for bid buy sell These where large orders of in the tens of thousands The btcmarkets physical location is a fresh organic goods shop that sells - you guest it fresh organic goods

doesnt work in Brave

I like the platform as a newby investor I recently lost 8 5k during a transfer to a wallet I had only done this 5 times before Cut and past exercise Etherscan revealed the funds went to an ether account not linked to my wallet the only account I have so an error during copying the address is unlikely as there is no clipboard address stored other than mine I can be positive as I didn t take note of the address but hey it has gone ok before right I now check the address carefully and now sent a minimum amount first Screenshots along the way as well Many have lost coins I think in my case at least there was a hack again can t be sure Lumi was good they were open to checking out possibilities BTC well let s just say I am no better off after making contact The Wild West of cryptos

Slow support and dodgy operations

Took 4 weeks to verify account Customer service was very slow to respond taking weeks each time Had issues to transfer anything more than A 2k Was concerned with some of their security protocols

an email to Support yesterday

Very slow support They locked my trading account based on their own discretion Lost money as I had to remove my funds Use them at your own risk many other exchanges available that provide more features and support Website is OK and you can trade a few coins Appear like a new player trying to get into the game

Just not making the gains I expected

I sent an email to Support yesterday 21st September somehow 24 hours later you guys decide to contact me I have been with BTC now for 4 years whilst I don t trade on your Exchange very often I expect better customer service So please contact me on the 23rd September between 10am and 11am Thank youRoss Barrett
