I indicated I liked a vehicle I got a call the next morning at an inconvenient time Sunday morning I said I will mail the next day I did this and didn t get a reply I then decided I actually wanted the car I mailed over and over and no-one ever contacted me The car eventually sold While all of this was going on I received spam email of others cars

Misleading adverts

I bought a car from a dealer Struans Dundee that I saw advertised on car gurus and advertised as keyless entry Being a reputable dealer I didn t check the spec before I bought When I discovered it didn t have keyless entry the dealer explained that they don t choose to advertise on Car Gurus and could take no responsibility for the advert What happens is Car Gurus scrapes data on stock advertised in other channels sets a spec they can t verify and then posts and if an enquiry comes in they pass it on to show lead generation Presumably they can later use that to try and get the dealers to sign up So be warned - these guys are marketing cars that they have no way of verifying the details from Don t assume any spec stated is accurate

Changing car doing a lot of research ccar gurus seemed to be the better site to use until blocked from saved list can add cars just cant see cars which makes this site useless Tried to sort out through help function but AI useless The internet is not short of car sellers and if car gurus don t want to sell me a car then i will go elsewhere nobody forces you to make a website that works just as nobody forces me to use a website that does not work thanks for wasting my time Goodluck

Completely untrustworthy if you want to buy a used car You can filter CarGurus Partners which gives you hope that the seller is somehow more honest or has a little integrity It s a crock A simple free MOT check will highlight issues with the car including mileage Bullet dodged those of us on a budget don t enjoy being preyed upon This somehow has escaped the attention of this supposedly legitimate site It s a license to print money you don t need to be a guru to figure that out

Avoid like the plague

My own fault for jumping in but I really wish I had read these reviews before I bought a car absolute shambles and as for trying to hand it back they have an answer for everything not to give your money back please please avoid if at all possible
