Aim of Carlingo - sell high quality working cars To have happy customers customers to return again to exchange car in 3 years time Well carlingo you massively failed on all three of your aims I had a car for 5 months before it broke down First garage said it had many faults and needed to be moved to Peugeot specialist garage Peugeot garage diagnosed many problems including oil leak not a small one as they showed me on a video I took out 36 months RAC warranty cover out on the car which rejected my claim As a good will gesture the garage said they would cover some of the cost still leaving me with a large amount to pay out on a car I have had 5 months Apparently battery tyre front belt windscreen wipers are wear and tear since I bought my car 5 months I have had my car surely this is not down to my driving Garage said prior job carried out on the car was not done properly causing fault and damage Major cop out by the garage who sold me a car that was not fit for purpose

Cars over priced and non negotiable Can t blame sales team their just puppets in a big cog Save your money don t get fleeced by these cowboys All our prices set non negotiable said the sales guy The sirocco was on the very high end price that was in Autotrader all they want is people to pay on finance that s how they make more money I was a cash buyer and wanting a bit off but No we don t move This was said in a phone call they can say we don t recall speaking to me but that s the truth

Do not buy from this garage I had the unfortunate time of buying a car and then turning out the clutch is worn and they would not fix it They told me they had plenty of other cars on the lot in a similar situation so do yourself a favour and buy from a proper dealer

Lady was late for handover which meant I had to take more time off work the next day to get the car apart from that all good

Lovely building and warm welcome from Steve Transaction went smoothly The offer of a test drive would have been nice before money changed hands Having just bought a 28000 car I thought a charge of 10 for the caravan number plate was a bit mean So it was no surprise that there was only 40 miles of fuel in the tank Little things can mean so much 4 Further to my 4 review Carlingo have just replied thanking me for my 5 review Clearly nobody there reads their reviews I have therefore amended my review to 3

Staff were friendly helpful and professional Everything was wrapped up quickly Staff offered to collect me if I needed it after dropping off my rental car Minus- It would have been nice to have had a full tank The tank was on red before I travelled the 9 miles home to check and get a feel for the car

Shame they weren t more open and honest about the amount of bodywork and paint the car I purchased had had Only realised the extent until after purchase

Mainly pleased with the car well presented and looked after by sales staff Engine management light came on on second day soot on DPF sensor and knock sensor fault Bristol Street Motors fixed it for me as not willing to do the 220 mile round trip to Harrogate

The staff were lovely however there was a problem with communication regarding the pick up date of my car hence the 3 stars We had clearly communicated by email regarding date however when I turned up on that agreed date I was told that the car was not ready as they had a different date scheduled

The car was great and the service was fine but no more Test drive was agreed no problem Once I agreed to buy the car they took my deposit payment efficiently but then I felt I had to ask for information about next steps rather than being walked through the process I then had to change my plans to meet the handover date as had no options left to handover on a weekend
