A great course well delivered by Doug I d recommend spending the time brushing up on your VHF and doing the recommended pre-course material as there is a lot to cover Will be definitely be back for more courses with Chieftain

Perhaps the most effective and enjoyable course I have ever done The Instructor was highly knowledgeable and able to translate that knowledge into easily understandable terms questions were encouraged and answered thoroughly The course more than met my expectations

A friendly atmosphere reasonably well equipped good instructor and felt satisfied that most of my expectations and objectives were met There was a glitch with regards to receiving joining instructions for the day which I felt could have been sent earlier on and without me having to raise awareness about the lack of info

Go for chieftain training center specially in summer time because you got for experience while traffic in narrow channels

I really appreciate chieftain training center they have good instructors and special thanx bex who taught me boost up my practicals knowledge I really recommend them

Just would like to say very big thankyou to Chieftain Training and to Doug in particular for an extremely informative 1 day RYA Sea Survival course Doug demonstrated a vast knowledge of safety at sea and was able to recount experiences applicable to students from pleasure racing and commercial sectors who were attending the course His method of teaching clearly demonstrated his commitment to ensuring all the students got the most from the course and covered every aspect required Highly recommended and thanks again

Practice on the Simulator beforehand

Matt did an excellent session and was very knowledgeable on the subject matter The session was well paced and very informative I will take this knowledge and make more use of my yachts Radar set
