This is my second time renewing two policies with Chill I paid one policy in full no problems My other with a direct debit outsourced to Close Brothers finance This is when my issues started Between Chill giving my name to Close Brothers incorrectly not amending the issue until after multiple emails and phone calls to the point my policy was days from being cancelled setting up TWO direct debits for the SAME policy and then not accounting for my already paid deposit it is all a huge mess and headache to deal with I entrust this company to insure me and to drive safely on the road with my two children Thankfully one of their staff members Hannah did an amazing job sorting it all out for me She genuinely saved my opinion on the company hitting rock bottom A genuine star took almost an hour to get both policies all in order reassure me and keep me in the loop

Renewed our home insurance policy on phone and asked for receipt and policy to be sent by post and email After 10 days nothing came and I rang again for documents to be sent out Some policy documents came by email but no receipt for fee paid I am still awaiting physical policy cover in post showing effective cover and date of insurance policy After paying for my policy the least I expect is receipt and proper policy documents

Submitted a travel insurance claim in August 2022 and as of December I have not heard anything back besides a copy and paste We are very busy email I have tried countless times to get an update but I continue to receive the same we are busy email Was also advised by email not to telephone them although I never got an answer as they are also Very busy Extremely poor service to date

Useless Don t answer their phones Do not answer my emails and when you fill in the online quote request nobody contacts you Obviously they have enough customs that they are not looking for new ones

Policy renewal increased 20 for no reason Went online found better deal in 5 mins switched insurance Simple Funny how i got better deal directly from one of the providers they say they compared

They re great to order from but provide one of the worst aftercare experiences with phone call wait times that can honestly go upwards of 45-60 minutes

Not a great service I received a quote which included open drive and some business miles When the cert arrived the open drive was for drivers in an older bracket than I had from a previous company and this was never explained The business miles were not on the cert at all

Have been a customer for years without issues Recently sought to change vehicle the service was overly complex rigid and customer service was not helpful or clear in the process Decided to go with another company Extremely slow at issuing documents and the blame is put back onto the insurance company However I followed up and Chill had the document but did not issue it Still waiting on other documentation after cancellation In the digital age it is hard to see how requests can take over 2 weeks

I trusted Chill insurance s promise to shop around and get me the best home insurance quote This year I tested their honesty and shopped around myself without looking too hard I got a substantially cheaper quote My advice is to shop around yourself if you want to save money on your insurance without compromising your insurance cover

Usually I find the operators so friendly and helpful but yesterday and today after waiting approx 20mins both times neither operator was friendly or helpful The guy last night said I d get a phone call this morning but I didn t and the girl this afternoon took 5 minutes to tell me I d need to wait 24-48hrs for a quote Disappointed after previous great experiences
