The only saving grace was Ross Ralph

I ve found them competitive however they started asking for documents and sharing a link where the upload isn t working The chat system didn t work either and the only person who I could relay on was Ross Ralph he spoke to me on the phone at lease twice took my documents and manually uploaded them he s a credit to the Company and if it wasn t for Ross I d have cancelled and taken my business else where Really need to look at their IT systems

Service is fine but the brokerage fee

Service is fine but the brokerage fee is expensive in percentage terms for our policy Insurers charge was 331 euro chill added 80 euro a total of 411 euro I found another quote went back to chill and got a reduction to 375 euro Much closer to the industry standard of brokerage fees Advise shop around for quotes don t just accept the figure given

I paid for a new policy last week

I paid for a new policy last week which is what this review is Yesterday I received email saying my old policy will automatically renew in July I rang in to cancel this and girl could not help I have to ring back with both policy numbers I have changed phones and for some reason cannot access old policy number in download

Impossible to get through to chill on

Impossible to get through to chill on the phone was on hold for 45min trying to get any answer then I was passed from one department to the other I was very disappointed st this point Thankfully I eventually got a member of staff Ross Ralph who apologised and help me straight away He gave me his direct email to contact him in the future Thanks Ross

Overall good company Chill are very helpful and they do what they can to solve your request problem or issue However the reduction in stars comes from their extremely poor phone service Three times ringing and on hold for over 30 mins on one 45 mins on another and then over an hour on the last It s ridiculous I can t spend my entire day sitting on the phone waiting for someone to bother answering So due to that I can t give more than 3 stars Much needed improvement on their phone service MUCH NEEDED

Excessive premium increase

My only quam I have is the Excessive premium increase on my policy of 136 40 or approximately 16 7 even though I haven t ever received a single penalty point on my licence

Takes a very long time to get through

Takes a very long time to get through to Customer Service 20 mins plus However when I got through I dealt with a very helpful person who was able to make my policy amendments quickly so overall positive bar the excessive wait time on the phone

premium was high

The premium was high this year so I decided to pay monthly which I never do only to realize that Close Brothers are the lenders and not Chill I tried numerous times to upload my documents and as far as I was aware I was successful Until I received a letter from chill stating they were canceling my policy within the next week The use of Close Brothers is not very clear at the start of the process so I have marked them down I was a while getting through to the correct department also but once I got through the guy was pretty helpful I got sorted and paid in full

When ever I call I always get cut off

When ever I call I always get cut off half way through or if you get transferred to another department it cuts me off or you have to wait so long and the music is rubbish
