Sending candidates unsolicited commercial emails is by definition spam We do not need to reach out to you to discuss further as you keep saying in your replies to previous reviews You need to cease and desist from this practice I have never had prior contact with cord nor consented to receiving messages but received an invite nonetheless That s the policy you need to change and you shouldn t need us to explain that in order to fix it

Light on actual Web Design jobs
Not a great website seems very light on jobs despite the big promises upfront in their marketing about how Hiring Managers are taking the initiative to actively seek out jobless but qualified candidates well not from my experience makes me wonder if the jobs and people on that website are real I know for a fact I have excellent skills and years of experience so why is no one reaching out to me I m often disappointed with the lack of UI Designer jobs on there Sticking to real jobs on LinkedIn

Spam tactics
Cord emailed me with a personal invite citing my current employer and title within it I have never signed up with cord or even heard of it I m also not looking for a job or have signed up to any job search websites My Linkedin Profile is not set to looking for work They have clearly purchased data and are sending loads of unsolicited emails to people judging by the other negative reviews here for the same practices Really dodgy way to do business and discredits the positive reviews here as well as the company overall

Cord co started spamming me endlessly
This company started spamming my personal email address which they guessed belonged to me after visiting my LinkedIn account This email was personal and had nothing to do with any business I was never signed up to them but found myself on their spam list I asked many times for them to stop spamming me and their unsubscribe button went nowhere but they persisted Very unprofessional and contrary to GDPR laws Avoid cord co

Spams my email even though I never signed up for anything
cord buys data such as email addresses from other companies and then uses that data to spam people who have never signed up for anything related to cord cord knowingly violates privacy laws I do not think this is a trustworthy companyEDIT cord s reply to this review is completely false They have received numerous complaints about their unlawful way of trying to acquire new customers yet they still refuse to stop doing this

Buying your data
I was searching my emails for something else and came across an old invitation from last year to join this site I had never heard of it but they had information on me despite never giving them any of it myself or permission to have it Basically they bought my information from data brokers then thought it would be acceptable to try to get me to join and give them even more Never going to happen

Pretty useless for my case
Pretty useless for my case I want to apply to tech jobs in the UK from Canada and despite my 3 years of employment history at reputable firms they require that you have US or European experience and that you live there Any company that chooses cord as a platform essentially denies any apps from people who don t currently live in the US or UK or who are starting out their career with no experience It s frustrating to click on a LinkedIn posting and have it navigate to this very closed system Verification criteria not metOnly people with previous experience at a technology-led company in the UK EEA or the USA who currently live in one of these locations are accepted on cord In this instance your profile does not meet these criteria and therefore has not been accepted

Not for career starters
Bit useless really I recently completed a coding bootcamp and they don t class that as experience so you aren t approved Even though they have entry level roles
