Used to be great

Used to be great straightforward and transparent Every profile there was a potential interview and something really interesting that cuts through the chase when it comes to applying for jobs Nowadays it seems like they lowered the standards on who joins as a recruiter and they stopped being transparent regarding salaries as many jobs there do not declare it which defeats the purpose really and a big waste of my time Also the recruiters do not reply anymore to most messages so unless they are interested you will be ghosted which is the same as applying normally and I feel like this makes the use of the site pointless

I really liked that I was able to find

I really liked that I was able to find smaller companies there The ones that I was looking for The thing I didn t like was that it s not possible to look for hybrid or remote jobs at the same time I also didn t like that not every company had undisclosed salary most that contacted me didn t Also the search wasn t working as I expected - even though I shared what my skills are - most of the companies had some different ones and was introduce to me as those that would fit me perfectly Other than that it was okay

A good disrupter to the hiring market

Pros Easy for candidates and companies to connect and ask questions A lot of tech companies start-ups scale-ups have a presence Useful stats are available on salary and employers Cons Some disreputable companies are present - need to do your own research beyond the company profiles UI often confusing Salaries not often posted

I did not like it when Talent Lead did not replied me back to give update or feedback on my application after my first intro call with her Some recruiters are very quick in giving response

I like it when any company recruiter can directly communicate through chat on cord I faced one issue is that they says you are very good fit for this position and after receiving CV they never come back to reply At least a message as a feedback on CV should be left

Cord Great idea but a little too eager to park accounts

Cord is a job search platform that connects candidates directly with recruiters at top companies It s a great idea and I love that recruiters typically respond within 1-2 days However I m not a fan of how quickly Cord is to judge candidates For example if you don t respond to a recruiter in a quick enough time or don t use the service for a few weeks your account may be parked I understand that Cord wants to keep its platform active and engaged but I think this rule is a bit too strict Recruitment can be a long and stressful process and I don t think Cord should close down accounts just because a candidate isn t constantly using the service Overall I think Cord is a good job search platform but I hope they ll reconsider their rule about parking accounts

Fine I guess

Its well set up and is intuitive to use It encourages you to create a generic template for your messages out which feels a tad impersonal Response rate is low from people you contact but still higher than it is on other recruitment sites I d only rate it higher if the service felt meaningfully different from Indeed or Reed As it is its fine

A good platform but

A good overall platform with top class job opportunities However the UX on the whole website is quite frustrating- The Job card is designed with high unbalanced proportions between image and info making poor the understand of the short JD but also taking too much space on the screen- External positions totally lost from the user view- Search function is very powerful but with lack of clearness between the all CTAs spread all around the top screen area- Positions Tabs not working consistently but also not really intuitive as usage- Mobile version overall lack of responsiveness

It is quite good to interact at the same time needs improvements

It is quite good to interact with recruiters directly Nice to see matching skill set before sharing the profile Need improvements 1 Allowing limited skills max 3 every time have to update profile to add and remove2 Old and expired jobs still showing up while searching which leads to disappointment and no proper info on the status in cord simply disabled while applying the role it can be removed if not active role Lot of UI bugs 3 Recruiters simply decline without any proper reason of rejections I felt discussion give more idea on experience skill and work authorization etc Thanks

Bit hit or miss

Bit hit or miss The search feature is good as is the ability to store a CV within the site Had a few calls with a few decent recruiters but also some that approached me followed by radio silence when I replied
